Front panels under a stone a rating. Panels for finishing the facades of private houses: photo panels, characteristics and video examples of facade finishing

Front panels are one of actual types of facing of country houses, cottages and dachas. They have important functional purpose- prevention of heat loss and creation of natural ventilation. A wide variety of textures and shades allows you to create a unique style and unique look of the house. Among the most popular facade materials are basement siding, thermal panels, vinyl siding, fiber cement panels, WPC siding, porcelain stoneware, and glass panels.

Vinyl siding: the main advantage

The bevelled edges and the hidden lock connection allow you to create a single solid canvas on the facade without visible seams. This is attractive from an aesthetic point of view and is a guarantee of good sealing to protect against moisture and moisten the walls. The panels are made of polyvinyl chloride, which is resistant to temperature extremes -50 to +50°C and non-combustible. A choice of 100 shades of color palette and 50 relief structure options allows you to create any exterior design.

Facade panels "under the stone"

Facing in the form of natural stone attracts with its respectable appearance and the creation of an image of an aristocratic format. But not everyone can afford to buy such building materials. This is where vinyl siding comes to the rescue in imitation of malachite, marble and granite.

An important advantage over analogue

Vinyl siding can be mounted on any type of base - concrete surface, brick wall, wooden crate. Facing with natural stone cannot boast of such versatility.

Facade panels under the "tree"

Facade siding, imitating a wooden texture, is one of the most diverse in texture. This is a recreation in PVC: shipboard, wood chips, block house, logs, lining.

Facade panels "under the brick"

PVC brick cladding material perfectly imitates not only appearance but also the texture. This is expressed in the creation of a smooth, rough or chipped surface, which is difficult to distinguish from an analogue even by touch.

Disadvantages of vinyl siding

Vinyl panels do not withstand impacts applied purposefully with very high force - cracks and scratches appear. Products react to changes in temperature, especially to its sharp jumps. This is expressed in the appearance of wave-like deformation on the facades with improper installation. Professional craftsmen know these features and take them into account during installation, reliably adjusting the lock connection. That is why it is so important to find the right specialists for facade works.

Plinth PVC siding - protection of weak points of the facade

The lower part of the house, adjacent to the foundation, is always difficult to clad. Far from facade materials are suitable for this. Close proximity to groundwater and the blind area suggests that the lining should be as resistant to moisture as possible. Otherwise, the owners will have to make repairs every year. Avoiding such problems allows the use of plinth siding made of PVC.

The importance of purchasing basement siding

Even if you use other facing materials for the main part of the facade, it is advisable to buy special ones to decorate the basement. This will protect the building from freezing, prevent the walls from getting wet and the formation of ugly white stains on them.

Basement siding is made in the form of panels of small length for ease of installation. A possible difficulty during installation may be the adjustment of the lock connection. It is necessary to take into account the expansion or contraction of PVC panels with temperature differences within 5 mm.

Flaws

Facing material melts quickly during a fire, so it is recommended to use it only for low-rise construction. For decoration of buildings of a large area, it is contraindicated. The choice of siding in shades is limited - a very small palette of shades. Selection is required for the main view either according to the contrast principle, or according to the distant tone of the main palette.

WPC siding - eco-friendly finish

Wood-polymer composite siding is one of the new modern cladding materials. It is an imitation of timber or lining with original embossing. Production is based on: sawdust and other woodworking waste, thermoplastic polymers and modifying additives. Products are presented in the texture of a board, panel or terrace board.

Distinguishing properties

The wood-polymer composite has absorbed all the best features - an attractive look of wood texture and the strength of modern polymers. This means that the facade cladding will not delaminate, deform, become saturated with moisture and swell during operation.

Installation advantage

Compared to other facing materials, the installation of WPC siding is waste-free. Any parts can be cut and used.

Weaknesses of the KDP

The disadvantages of the facade material most often appear under certain weather conditions. Strong wind, raising streams of dust and small pebbles can cause harm in the form of small scratches on the surface.

Facade thermal panels - "warm" cladding

Warm panels - a warm house. It is on this principle that facade thermal panels are produced. This facing material is combined and simultaneously connects facing clinker tiles and insulation based on polyurethane or expanded polystyrene. His distinctive feature is waterproof. No moist environment is formed on the surface, which is a breeding ground for fungal plaque and vegetation on the facades.

Used for production the best varieties clay, which is fired at a temperature of +1200°C. Thus complete sintering is achieved. raw material, which gives thermal panels high characteristics of strength and resistance to mechanical stress. The use of insulation allows you to create good level thermal insulation of the house, without spending extra money on it.

Flaws can only appear after poor-quality installation.

Before installation, it is necessary to carefully align the walls, otherwise the thermal panels are deformed during operation.

Fiber cement panels

The production of fiber cement panels is carried out from cement, cellulose, quartz sand and mica by autoclave at a temperature of +175 ° C. Thus, a uniform, homogeneous, durable structure of the facade material is achieved. Paint or varnish is applied to the surface, visually displaying a smooth or rough texture brickwork.

Benefits of using

Fiber cement panels are one of the most durable types of facade cladding, which is confirmed by frost resistance of 100 cycles. The density of the material is 1.5 kg / cm3, resistance to mechanical stress, and the characteristics of the bending strength of 24 MPa create resistance to strong gusts of wind.

Flaws

Among the inconveniences of installation can be considered the mandatory use of power tools. Otherwise, the panels simply do not cut. Their weight up to 30 kg requires the work of a team of 5-6 people. The most important problem of use can be a water absorption rate of up to 10%. That is, the material tends to absorb moisture.

Porcelain stoneware - facing for centuries

Porcelain stoneware is identical to natural stone in its properties and characteristics. Its use is extensive - it is both low-rise construction and high-rise buildings. Porcelain stoneware cladding emphasizes status especially favorably, which is why it is often used for commercial real estate. An important factor in the choice is the possibility of installation at any time of the year, at sub-zero temperatures.

Most winning traits

Porcelain stoneware is chosen not only for the respectable appearance of houses, but also for the distinctive characteristics of wear resistance and lack of abrasion. The material stands out for its special resistance to the formation of cracks, scratches and chips on the surface. Even stains will appear on it is difficult. The original appearance and shade is preserved for decades thanks to UV resistance and absolute waterproofness.

Cons of application in price

Porcelain stoneware belongs to the premium class facing materials and has a high cost. Again, the large weight of the products requires strengthening the foundation, and this is again an additional cost.

Glass panels as an original type of facade glazing

Glass panels are used in facade glazing when filling structures made of aluminum or PVC. Products are relevant for both high-rise and low-rise buildings. The following types of glass are used as filling: thick, impact-resistant "mono" glass, laminated structures with a special film. It creates a darkening effect and reduces the visibility for passers-by. Double glass "triplex" is internally filled with inert argon gas to prevent breakage.

Advantages of purchasing glass panels

A large area of glazing is an original type of facade cladding. Glass panels allow the sun's rays to penetrate as long as possible into the room. This contributes to energy savings.

Application features

Possible operating difficulties

When using glass panels, it is necessary to install blinds, blackout curtains or other window accessories to avoid scorching sunlight in the summer. Otherwise, overheating occurs and stuffiness is felt in the room. Maintenance also causes a lot of problems, since industrial climbers will have to be involved in washing the glasses.

What to look for when choosing facade panels

The variety of facade panels allows you to choose a facing material according to your taste, quality and price, create a unique home decoration by combining products, experimenting with shapes and color palettes. In order not to make a mistake and not buy a fake or defective products, pay attention to the following important components of the purchase of any material: a certificate of compliance with quality and safety standards, a manufacturer's warranty, an accompanying album of technical solutions or detailed instructions for installation. It is desirable that all facade panels can be purchased from one company along with accessories.

On our website.

As for the dimensions of this manufactured product for facing works, they are very diverse. These can be both small individual segments and large-sized panels with a height of three meters. The production of elongated narrow typesetting panels, sheet profiles and sandwich panels consisting of several layers is successfully practiced.

Benefits of using facade panels

It is natural that mass popularity has come to this decorative facing material due to its quality indicators and numerous advantages. Having decided to purchase facade panels, the developer simultaneously solves several problems, such as:

  • protection of the outer walls of the building from weather, precipitation, sudden changes in temperature and the harmful effects of direct sunlight;
  • resistance to corrosion, fungal infections and harmful insects;
  • the possibility of carrying out installation work in any weather, high and low air temperatures. This allows you not to delay the construction schedule;
  • facing buildings of old construction, and not just new buildings;
  • imitation of expensive decorative building materials for a moderate price. The difference with stone, timber and brick is visible only when you are in close proximity to the facade.

To get to know the differences and advantages of the most popular facade panels, we suggest that you study the information about each of them separately by reading the article below.

Cladding facade panels: brand overview

Alta-profil

  • in the production of products, only non-toxic raw materials with an anti-flammable effect are used;
  • delamination and fragility of panels caused by high humidity and heat are excluded.

Docker

The Docker brand panels, called "light stone", are an example of a combination of beauty and economy for facade finishing materials. For all their simplicity, they transform the facade of the building, making it visually similar to stone cladding. They are made of a special composition, the basis of which is polyvinyl chloride. This material is lightweight, which simplifies the process of mounting the cladding on the facade.

The full similarity of the textures of the Docker panels with brick and stone was achieved only thanks to a high-tech production process. The color scheme of the panels of this brand is identical to the shades of ceramic bricks, natural sandstone and other natural minerals. These panels can be successfully combined with each other and combined with other finishing materials, both artificial and made on the basis of natural components.

Fineber

Among the most famous and proven panels is the Fineber brand. Their range makes it possible to realize any design projects. The standard dimensions of such material correspond to the size of 1100x500mm. The texture of its front surface completely repeats the three main claddings: stone, brick or slate. Small segments of Fineber panels allow you to visually imitate classic brickwork. Traditionally, the facade, finished "under slate", looks airy and light. As for the imitation of stone, the similarity with a natural mineral allows you to endow the external walls of the house with nobility and grandeur.

If we talk about the technical and operational characteristics of Fineber facade panels, then the first place here is the high quality and long service life of the cladding. Even after two decades, they will not lose their appearance. All this became possible thanks to the use of unique technology in the production. In addition to standard panels, manufacturers offer various decorative inserts and accessories to accentuate individual facade elements.

wandestein

It is known that the plinth is subject to various risks, such as freezing, excessive moisture, loss of an attractive appearance due to fading in the sun. Poor-quality basement cladding during operation can crack due to temperature changes. In order not to encounter the above troubles, you need to carefully choose finishing material for the exterior finish of the plinth.

In addition to reliability and quality, Wandstein panels » will help to highlight and ennoble the base of the house, imitating masonry cladding. The main series of such materials are represented by the Tuf and Skol collections. In their production, the technique of automated staining is used. There are several parameters that distinguish such a cladding from steel analogues. in:

  • the size of Wandstein products corresponds to the height of standard basement floors (59.5 cm);
  • the use of a new locking joint, which rigidly and reliably fixes the elements of the cladding. Thanks to this innovation, installation work is carried out easier and faster;
  • modernized horizontal connection of panels eliminates even the slightest deformation of the material;
  • product design matches the appearance of natural stone;
  • facade panels are made of components that meet the parameters environmental cleanliness and security. They are non-toxic and are accompanied by hygiene and fire certificates.

Vinylit

This product consists of wood fiber, quartz components, mica cement and inorganic additives. It is produced in the form of a flat embossed tile, presented in different color and texture solutions, which allows it to imitate various finishing materials.

In the production of Nichiha trademark panels, no artificial components are used. The organic origin of the products allows the use of such material for interior cladding of the house, while guaranteeing long term service and environmental friendliness.

Acrylic coating is applied to the outer side of the panels in six layers. Inner side covered with facade paint with a water-repellent effect. The standard width of the material is 45.5 cm, length - 181.8 or 303 cm. Its thickness varies from 14 to 35 mm, and, depending on this indicator, an individual fastening is selected.

Nichiha fiber panels are characterized by a minimal tendency to expand and contract under the influence of high and low temperatures. The acrylic coating of the panels does not contribute to the retention of dust and dirt on the facade - during rain, dust and dirt are easily washed off with water in a natural way. With a high strength of the material, nails easily pass through it. In finished form, the facade has no visible joints and seams.

HPL

Facade composite material, of which the HPL panels are composed, has several layers. The thickness of the product is 1.5 cm, length - 40 cm, width - 13 cm. This cladding is ideal for finishing public buildings and structures due to its special strength and resistance to mechanical and thermal stress. Caring for it will not be difficult and will not require the use of special tools. Panels of this brand serve for a long time without the need to replace them.

Terracotta panels

This cladding material is an example of modern sustainable outdoor decors. It is completely non-flammable and can be used for mounting at any height. Terracotta panels have increased thermal and noise insulation performance, as well as very low thermal conductivity.

They are based on high quality clay, pressed under high pressure. The firing temperature reaches 1200 degrees. Such panels look most successful in combination with facades made of glass, stained-glass windows and decorative aluminum profiles. Production equipment for the production of terracotta panels is located in a number of European countries, in particular, in Portugal and Spain. Recently, Chinese manufacturers have also used such equipment.

PF panels

The flat surface of metal facade panels PF 1a does not contain decorative details. The walls of buildings lined with such material are distinguished by rigor and conciseness. The direction of their installation can be either horizontal or vertical. Most often, metal panels are used for facing bay windows, rounded ledges and openings.. This is what distinguishes them from straight metal siding.

Facade panels are today a very fashionable and already widely used method for renovating building facades. This material, due to its variety of shapes, colors and textures, is very successful in the construction of new, as well as the reconstruction of old buildings and structures.

The production of facade panels in terms of investment is quite an attractive direction, since high-quality products are quite expensive. However, the manufacturing process of such structures consists of several technological processes, which provide for the presence of a staff of workers with preliminary qualification training.

Advantage

Using facade panels for building cladding, the consumer receives:

  • high level of sound and heat insulation;
  • ease and simplicity of installation;
  • the possibility of self-cleaning;
  • resistance to moisture and low temperatures;
  • environmental friendliness of all materials used;
  • high level of seismic resistance;
  • panel color quality;
  • immunity to UV rays;
  • long service life;
  • relatively small weight of one facade sheet.

Types and forms

A variety of materials can be used in the production of facade panels: steel, aluminum, copper, wood fibers, zinc, glass, natural stone, etc.

These structures are available in various sizes: small-sized (sandwich panels, corrugated sheet, narrow typesetting panel, multilayer panels) and large-sized (height can reach 4 m). Depending on the material used, facade panels are classified into:

  • plastic(do not corrode, resistant to ultraviolet radiation, able to imitate brick, wood, marble and other materials);

  • vinyl(made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride polymers), have durability (up to 40 years of service); moisture-proof, fire-resistant, but do not withstand low temperatures and strong wind)
  • stone effect panels(stone imitation is much cheaper than real masonry);
  • wood fiber panels(these are wood fibers pressed at high temperature and pressure; the material is environmentally friendly, frost-resistant, bending resistant, not subject to deformation, easy to install);
  • glass panels(there is a classification of glasses according to strength: class A, B and C; they have good sound and heat insulation, reduce the level of exposure to ultraviolet radiation, create an original facade);
  • sandwich panels(the design consists of a layer of metal and a plastic plate; durable (more than 30 years), environmentally friendly, protect against heat loss);
  • fiber cement panels(consist of cellulose and plastic (10%/90%), have a self-cleaning coating, withstand significant temperature changes; frost-resistant, non-flammable).

The production of facade panels can be manual and professional. In manual work, there is only manual equipment (mixer, tables, scales, drying racks), it can be organized in any small room (for example, in a garage).

Professional production is a whole range of equipment:

  • mixers;
  • pulp processing equipment;
  • drying machines;
  • molding equipment;
  • pulp preparation equipment;
  • various dispensers;
  • equipment for the production of the panels themselves.

First, the cellulose goes through several stages of purification and preparation, after which it is mixed with cement, sand and synthetic additives. All this mass is fed into the mixer-extruder, where it is given shape and texture. After that, under the influence of thermal action, calcium silicate hydrate is formed, which provides strength and wear resistance to the product. At the very end, the panels are treated with antistatic and moisture-proof solutions.

Holzplast (Wandstien)

With the production of the Wandstien series, the developers of Holzplast were able to combine the design elegance of classic materials with the main advantages of modern polymer materials. Designs are made from frost-resistant, not cracking, water-repellent material.

Modern building technologies provide for the use of facade slabs as finishing materials for facing the outer surfaces of buildings and structures. Facade boards are widely used in new construction and renovation projects. The versatility of the design makes it possible to veneer high-rise buildings and one-story cottages with the same quality.

Facade slabs are made of different materials, have a wide range of colors, shape and method of fastening. For them, unique fasteners and parts are produced that provide the creation of a supporting frame, overlapping joints, adaptation to complex elements of the external structure of the building.

How do facade facing plates differ from facade panels or cassettes, according to the author, by the method of fastening. We attribute the front plate to the sheet fastening method. The sheet fastening method involves the use of flat sheets of a simple shape. There are two ways of fastening facing plates for the facade: hidden and visible. The visible method is intuitive, it is fastening the plate to the base with a rivet or self-tapping screw. The hidden method is much more complex and technologically advanced, but it does not leave a visible fastening from the outside. It is carried out using special anchor bolts of hidden fastening, sometimes they are called a collet-type anchor.

Benefits of using facade slabs:

  • non-combustible sheet material;
  • work can be carried out at any time of the year, regardless of the weather, and no special preparation of the walls is required;
  • facade slabs can;
  • fast and technological way of installation;
  • reliable protection of the walls from atmospheric precipitation is provided;
  • long service life and the possibility of replacing individual elements;
  • a large selection of products, including those imitating natural materials.

The main types of plates for the facade of the house

Facade cladding can be carried out with large-sized panels comparable to the floor height, and small-sized ones, which are a set of typesetting parts of various shapes, fixed on the walls using a leveling frame and fasteners.

Finishing plates are classified according to the type of material from which they are made. There are several types of slabs for facade work: fiber cement, wood-plastic HPL-panel, metal, pressed slabs.

All finishing plates are suitable for, but some have a restriction on use in high-rise buildings. Not all types of plates have the necessary permits for use in high-rise construction. In the article, we will consider all the options and separately analyze each slab for the possibility of using it on the facades of public buildings.

Fiber cement cladding slabs

Fiber cement boards are made from a mixture of cellulose, cement, sand and synthetic additives. Heat treatment under high pressure gives the material high strength. . The back side is protected by a hydrophobic primer.

This finishing material can look like brick, natural stone or wood. The coating can be made of mineral chips. Does not absorb moisture, does not get dirty and does not burn. He has high strength. Most of the panels in this class have a low price, which contributes to their popularity.

Sheet panels are mounted in a visible and hidden way on the system. The visible method involves fastening the panel directly to the profile with a rivet or self-tapping screw. In this case, it is recommended to paint the visible fasteners in the color of the panel.

But not all front plates can be fixed with a rivet. For example, thin porcelain stoneware is not allowed, so it is mounted on a special aluminum frame assembled in advance, and the panel is pressed with planks until the adhesive composition adheres.

Often it is required to fix fiber cement, Rock-panel, HPL-panel in a hidden way so that there is no visible fastener. And in this case there is a solution. Facing plates are assembled on horizontal profiles. Previously, special hooks (agraphs) are attached to the plates on the reverse side with the help of hidden fastening anchors.
