1 CELLULAR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR HEATING EQUIPMENT KSITAL GSM-T OPERATION MANUAL 1

2 1. Purpose and principle of operation Cellular control system for heating equipment "KSITAL GSM-T" is designed to alert via cellular communication channel about the failure of heating equipment and remotely control it using a cell phone. The built-in temperature sensor continuously measures the temperature in the heated room. When the room temperature drops, SMS messages about this are sent to cell phones, the numbers of which are previously stored in memory. The system has a mode of automatic maintenance of the temperature in the room, controlling heating system using the built-in relay. The stabilization temperature value is set by an SMS command from a remote cell phone. In case of loss of 220V voltage in the controlled room, a corresponding SMS is sent. When an SMS message is received with a request for a certain format, an SMS is sent to the cell phone connected to the system with information about the temperature in the room and the presence of 220V voltage. The system allows remote control additional equipment by SMS command from a remote cell phone. The system monitors the status backup battery and cell phone battery, maintaining their charge at 100%. In addition to monitoring heating equipment, the KSITAL GSM-T system has additional capabilities for notifying via SMS and voice dialing about the operation of various sensors connected to the controller inputs (see the Additional Features of KSITAL GSM-T section). 2. Composition of the control system and technical parameters The KSITAL GSM-T heating equipment control system includes: KSITAL GSM-T controller Cell phone of one of the models: Siemens S25, C35, M35, S35, C45, ME45, S45 (supplied separately) Adapter power supply included in the 220V network and a power controller constant voltage 21V Backup battery 12V The system is designed for installation inside a monitored facility and is designed for round-the-clock operation at temperatures from 0 0 C to C. The system remains operational at mains voltage from 160V to 240V. Recharging the backup battery is possible at a mains voltage of at least 200V. 2

3 Power consumed by the system from the network alternating current, not more than 10W. To control the actuators, normally open or closed relay contacts with a maximum current of 5A and an AC voltage of 220V are used. The number of actuator relays is 3. The maximum number of telephone numbers in the list to which SMS messages are sent is 10. 3

4 3. System installation If only the main functions of KSITAL GSM-T are used, then the inputs of additional control zones are left unused, shunted with 3.6 kOhm resistors, as it was during delivery. 3.1. Choice of installation site The installation site of the controller is selected based on the following considerations: the air temperature at the installation site should not fall below 0 0 С and should reflect the typical temperature in the room; moisture on the controller, cell phone and power adapter is excluded; should be near electric socket 220V; at the location of the controller, there must be a sure reception by the cell phone of the signal from the base station, which is controlled by the indicator of the cell phone. The controller is mounted on the wall using self-tapping screws for the mounting ears of the case. 3.2 Connecting a cell phone to the controller Insert an activated SIM card with a positive balance into the cell phone. Turn on your cell phone and make sure it works by sending and receiving test SMS from it. Delete all SMS from the SIM card. Make sure that the cells with numbers from 10 to 29 are free from entries in the phone book, because. these entries will be erased when the system is initialized. Connect the flex cable from the pocket of the controller to the socket on the bottom of the cell phone and drop the phone into the pocket. Insert the plug of the power adapter into the controller and the adapter into a 220V socket. four

5 3.3 Connecting the backup battery When connecting the backup battery for the first time, it must be charged beforehand, as When a deeply discharged battery is connected, the fuse located on the controller board may trip due to excessive starting charging current. The battery is connected to the controller using the connector included in the delivery set (+ is connected to the external contact, and - to the internal). The controller provides efficient charging of the battery with a capacity of not more than 7Ah. 3.4.Creating a phone list for sending SMS If there is no phone number in the 10th cell of the SIM card phone book, then in a few seconds after turning on the power, the controller will generate a template of the list of phones to which SMS messages will be sent. The pattern looks like: 5

6 The list consists of the main phone number, located in cell 10, 9 additional ones for sending SMS and 10 for dialing with a voice message Alarm! (See section Additional Features of KSITAL GSM-T). It is necessary to edit this list by entering the numbers you need in the international format, i.e. for Russian Federation the number must start with +7 and consist of 11 digits (the format of numbers for voice dialing can be arbitrary). For example, an MTS cell phone number may look like this, a cell phone number with a direct Moscow number or a MGTS phone number (for voice dialing) like Add the number of phone numbers you need to the list, and at least the main phone number must be filled in 00SMS. The system will not start unless it finds the main phone number and will notify you by playing music on the cell phone. The indicator on the electronic key reader will glow red continuously. Therefore, since Initially, after downloading the template, the main phone number is not filled in, then, after hearing the loss, fill in this number, turn off the power supply of the controller and turn it on again after a few seconds, thereby restarting the system. The controller will issue further messages in the form of SMS to the main phone number. 3.5.Loading default settings If all SMS messages have been deleted from the SIM card, the controller will load the default settings into the SIM card memory during initial startup. They are contained in SMS with the name Nastroyki in the section with outgoing unsent SMS. SMS settings looks like: 6

7 3.6.Connecting actuators Up to 3 actuators can be connected to the controller. Connect executive devices to the relay outputs of the controller, guided by the options below. If it is necessary to control powerful devices, then intermediate relays of the appropriate type should be used. 4. System operation 4.1. Event notification :-system KSYTAL- Vnimanie! Temperature nije +15C. The message will indicate the value of the temperature level, the fall below which caused the mailing. When the 220V voltage fails, the system switches to power from the backup battery. After 10 seconds, if the voltage is not restored, an SMS message will be sent: -system KSYTAL- Vnimanie! Propalo naprjagenie 220V. The message about the critical discharge of the backup battery looks like: -system KSYTAL-Akkumulator razryagen. The message is sent when the backup battery voltage drops to 11V. From now on, the correct operation of the system is not guaranteed. 7

8 4.2. Notification on request In order to receive information about the presence of 220V voltage and the temperature in the controlled room, send an SMS message with a request of the required format to the cell phone connected to the controller (see the Request command format section). The response message will be as follows: -system KSYTAL-Temperatura +22C Vnimanie! Propalo naprjagenie 220V. Or, for example, -system KSYTAL-Temperatura +17C Naprjagenie norma. 4.3.Daily report A report, similar to the one sent on request, can be sent automatically once a day, if it is specified in the settings (see the Programming section). 4.4.Operation in the temperature stabilization mode The air temperature in the room, which must be maintained, is set from a remote cellular phone (see the Control command format section). If the room temperature falls below the set value, the controller turns on the heating boiler via relay 2. When the temperature exceeds the set temperature by 2 0 C, the boiler will be switched off. It will turn on again when the room temperature drops below the set temperature. Thus, the controller will maintain the room temperature within two degrees of the set temperature. When first turned on, the stabilization temperature value is 0 0 С. 5. Charging the batteries Charging the backup battery from the mains adapter is activated if the voltage on the battery drops below 13.6V. The charge level of the backup battery is not guaranteed when the mains voltage is below 200V or when using a non-standard adapter. Cell phone battery charging starts when the battery level falls below 80%. Charging current 100mA. Charging takes place from the mains adapter, and in the absence of voltage 220V from a backup battery. Cell phone charging does not turn on when the voltage on the backup battery drops below 11V. 6. Programming The user has the ability to change the mailing list, change system settings, edit the text of sent commands. eight

9 Changing the system settings is done by editing the SMS text with settings generated by the controller during initial power-up. The new settings will only become active after restarting the controller! Each line in the settings sets one or another parameter in accordance with the rules described below. 6.1.Changing the SMS distribution list The SMS distribution list is located in the phone book of the SIM card. The list contains from 1 to 10 phone numbers. The main phone, in addition to messages about changes in the status of controlled areas, receives some service messages. To add, remove, or change phone numbers in a mailing list, you must edit the entries in the corresponding cells in the phone book. It is important that phone numbers are in international format. Otherwise, the mailing will not be made to the incorrectly recorded number. Accordingly, to exclude a number from the mailing list, you can simply remove the + sign before the number or, for example, write zeros instead of the number: Changing the header of sent SMS The line in the -system KSYTAL- settings sets the initial line in all SMS sent by the controller. The text between hyphens will be used as a header in sent SMS. Changes in accordance with the rules for editing the SMS text. The number of characters in the text is not more than 16. Examples of specifying this line: -Dacha- ; -Office 1- ; -Garage- ; -Jukovka PIN-code programming The line in the PIN= settings specifies the PIN-code that should accompany the commands received by the controller in the form of SMS from any cell phone or the Internet. The PIN code must contain from 1 to 5 any numbers or letters, except for spaces and equal signs =. Examples of setting this line: PIN=12321, PIN=tam, PIN=fr16, PIN=1s2d. Default value: PIN=

10 6.4.Programming the daily report The line in the settings Otchet= sets the need for an automatic daily report on the unit's health. Report=0 means do not send a daily report. Report=1 - send a daily report. The first report will be sent one day after the last restart of the controller. The report time will be changed if a status command is sent to the cell phone connected to the controller: How dela? xxxxx, where xxxxx is replaced by a PIN. Subsequent daily reports will be sent at the same time of day. Default value: Otchet= Programming the temperature stabilization mode The line in the Nagrev= settings sets whether relay 2 should be automatically turned on if the room temperature drops below the set one. Nagrev=0 means that relay 2 turns on and off according to commands received in the form of SMS. Nagrev=1 means that relay 2 will turn on when the room temperature falls below the set temperature. Default value: Nagrev= Programming advanced settings The remaining settings can only be changed if advanced features are used. The description of these settings is given in the Additional Features of KSITAL GSM-T section. ten

11 7.Format of control commands The controller analyzes all incoming SMS. To avoid overflowing the SIM card memory, all incoming SMS messages are deleted after decryption. If the received SMS contains a command of the required format and the correct PIN code, then the command is executed. 7.1. Format of actuator control commands To turn on the actuator connected to relay 1, it is necessary to send SMS Vkluchit relay 1 xxxxx to the cell phone connected to the controller, where instead of xxxxx there is a PIN code. system (default 00000). The highlighted characters are required. A space is also required before the relay number and before the PIN code. The rest of the characters can be arbitrary. It is assumed that SMS with control commands are prepared in advance and the user simply sends the required SMS if necessary. At the same time, it is convenient to edit the command in such a way that it is clear from the text what will be included. For example, the command can be sent in one of the options: Vkluchit nasos or Vkl osveshenie or Vkluchit saunu or Vkl To turn on relay 2 or 3, the numbers of these relays are indicated in the corresponding position: Vkluchit relay or Vkluchit rele The command to turn off the relay has a similar format (for example, relay 1): Otkluchit rele Possible variants of this command: Otkluchit projektor or Otkluchit saunu or Otkl

12 7.2. Request command format If you need to find out the temperature and the presence of 220V voltage in the controlled room, you should send SMS to the cell phone connected to the controller: How is it? xxxxx, where xxxxx is replaced by a PIN. (default 00000) Emphasized characters are required. Is there also a required space between the ? and PIN code. The type of response SMS is described in the Notification on request section. 7.3.Temperature command format To set lower threshold temperature in the room, which must be maintained by KSITAL GSM-T, it is necessary to send an SMS to the cell phone connected to the controller: Temperatura = tt xxxxx, where tt is a two-digit temperature value, and xxxxx is a PIN code. (default 00000) Emphasized characters are required. A space is also required between the temperature value and the PIN code. Temperature command example: Temperatura = or Tem=

13 8. Additional features of KSITAL GSM-T This section should be studied if it is necessary to use the controller inputs to connect additional sensors. With the help of short SMS messages, KSITAL GSM-T signals the operation of various sensors at the facility, such as thermal sensors, magnetic contacts, infrared, ultrasonic or microwave volumetric motion sensors, gas leakage sensors, smoke sensors, water flood sensors and others. SMS can be duplicated by the voice message Alarm!. Up to 4 control zones can be allocated at the facility. Each of the zones can be represented by any required number of sensors connected in one alarm loop. Messages are sent sequentially to a pre-recorded list of phones. Zone 4 allows the connection of panic buttons for notification of an attack. The removal and setting of zones for control are carried out using electronic keys of the Touch Memory type. To recognize the key, it is necessary to touch the contact area of the reader connected to the controller with it. Setting for control can also be done remotely, using the appropriate SMS command. It is possible to listen to the room using an additional external microphone. 8.1.Additional equipment To use the additional features of KSITAL GSM-T, the system must be equipped with sensors, Touch Memory electronic keys and an electronic key reader. The sensors connected to the controller inputs must be divided into groups. Each group provides control of one zone. When any sensor is triggered, KSITAL GSM-T sends an SMS indicating the triggered zone. Sensors of one zone are connected, as a rule, in series. The zone is considered triggered when the total loop resistance deviates by 25% from the resistance measured during control. The number of zones - 4. The response time of the controller to the operation of the sensors is not more than 0.5 seconds. The delay for sending SMS when zone 1 sensors are triggered (usually connected to the front door) is programmable in the range from 1 to 99 seconds. 13 must be used to connect sensors to the controller.

14 unshielded 2 or 4-core cable with a wire cross section of at least 0.22 mm 2. To connect the electronic key reader to the controller, an unshielded 4-core cable with a wire cross section of at least 0.15 mm over 50 meters. The number of master keys is 1. The number of simultaneously registered electronic keys (including the master key) is not more than Connecting sensors to the controller As a rule, sensors with normally closed dry contact output are used. In this case, in series with the chain of sensors, it is necessary to install a resistor of such a value that the total resistance of the loop is in the range: 2 5 k. Sensors that control the entrance door or the room behind the entrance door (entrance hall) must be connected to zone 1, which has a programmable response delay. Mount the sensors in accordance with the instructions attached to them, combine them into zones and connect them to the controller terminals in accordance with the connection diagrams: for sensors that do not require a power source (magnetic contact, electric contact detectors, etc.); for sensors using an external power source (infrared, microwave, smoke detectors, etc.). fourteen

15 Each zone is represented by a group of three terminals. The purpose of the terminals in each group (from left to right): 1 common wire, 2 - combined signal wire from the sensors, 3 positive wire for +12V sensors power supply. If less than 4 zones are used, then 3.6 kΩ resistors must be connected to the terminal blocks of unused zones, as it was when the controller was delivered. After installation, check the total resistance of each loop with a tester. 8.3 Mounting the key reader and connecting it to the controller Mount the electronic key reader near the entrance door inside the premises. Connect the reader to the controller using the cable included in the kit. If KSITAL GSM-T is used as a burglar alarm, it is advisable to lay the cable covertly so as not to unmask the controller Touch keys Memory The last 6 lines in the settings determine the registration of Touch Memory electronic keys. Initially, no one was registered in the system. electronic key(except master key). To be able to remove and put the inputs under control, you must register at least one key. fifteen

16 Registration of a new key is possible only if there is a master key, the code of which is the password for the registration procedure. Despite the fact that the master key allows you to remove and put the inputs under control, it is recommended to store it separately and use it only for registering additional keys, because. If you lose it, you will lose the opportunity to register new keys. To register key 1, you first need to edit the corresponding line in the SMS with settings as follows: 1kluch=1. Then restart the controller. When starting, having found in the settings the need to register key 1, the controller will go into the waiting mode for entering the master key code (the indicator on the electronic key reader blinks evenly in green). Not later than 1 minute it is necessary to attach a master key to the contact of the reader. At the moment of touching, the cell phone will emit two short beeps. If the code of the attached key matches the code of the master key, then the controller allows the registration of a new electronic key (the indicator on the electronic key reader glows green evenly). After that, it is necessary to attach a registered key to the reader contact. At the moment of touching, the cell phone will emit a short beep and an SMS message will be sent to the main phone: Vnimanie! Installed novyi kluch Modes for monitoring sensors and registering electronic keys KSITAL GSM-T has 5 additional control modes: registration and deregistration of electronic keys; control removed; putting under control; on control; withdrawal from control. The number of the mode in which the controller is located is stored in non-volatile memory and is remembered in the event of a power failure. When the power is restored later, the mode that was before the power failure is restored. For example, if KSITAL GSM-T was not equipped with a backup battery and was in input control mode, then after a power failure of 220V and its subsequent restoration, it will continue to work in the same mode. If there is a backup battery, a power failure of 220V for more than 10 seconds in any mode causes a message to be sent to the main phone: Vnimanie! Propalo naprjagenie 220V. 16

17 8.5.1. Mode of registration and deregistration of electronic keys When the controller is powered on, it checks whether the number and numbers of keys specified in the settings correspond to those stored in the non-volatile memory of the controller. If no differences are found, the controller switches to the control disabled mode. Otherwise, the procedure for registering or de-registering a new key will be activated (see the Registration of Touch Memory electronic keys section). The exception is panic buttons connected to zone 4 (see Programming additional features). The indicator on the electronic key reader flashes green evenly. SMS incoming to the cell phone is monitored. If they contain commands of the appropriate format, then these commands are executed. The system monitors the charge level of the cell phone battery and the backup battery and, if necessary, activates their recharging. The system polls the electronic key reader. When the reader is touched with one of the registered keys, the controller switches to the control setting mode Control setting mode The control setting mode is indicated by a continuous green glow with rare yellow flashes of the indicator on the electronic key reader. This starts a timer for 90 seconds. If KSITAL GSM-T is used as a burglar alarm, then during this time it is necessary to leave the controlled premises. After 90 seconds, the controller measures the resistance of signal loops and saves these values in non-volatile memory. These values are the reference ones, the current loop resistances will be compared with them in the control mode. If the values of the reference resistances are outside the allowable range of 2 5 kΩ, then a warning will be sent to the main phone: Vnimanie! Nedopustimoe soprotivlenie Shleifa. In this case, it is necessary to find and eliminate the cause of a significant change in the resistance of the loop, since this indicates a possibly poor contact in the signal loop and can lead to false alarms.

18 operations. In the event of a break or short circuit loop, an SMS will also be sent about the activation of the controlled zone, indicating its number. Then the system goes into control mode. If necessary, you can program in the settings to send SMS systema na kontrole to the main phone every time the system is put under control (see Section Setting the mode of information about the removal and putting under control) Control mode Control mode is indicated by short yellow flashes of the indicator on the electronic key reader. In this mode, KSITAL GSM-T recharges the backup battery and cell phone battery as needed, executes the commands contained in incoming SMS, reports a power failure of 220V and the discharge of the backup battery, and controls the resistance of signal loops with sensors. The deviation of the resistance of any loop from that measured during setting up for control by more than 25% is considered as triggering the controlled zone. A typical situation is when each sensor works as a trip and all sensors of one zone are connected in series. In this case, when any sensor is triggered, the total resistance of the loop becomes infinitely large, which means that the zone is triggered. A message about this is sent to all phones included in the mailing list. If the settings are programmed to turn on the siren when triggered, then after sending an SMS, relay 3 is turned on for 2 minutes, causing the actuating device (siren) connected to this relay to be triggered. After the 4-fold triggering of the sensors of any zone and the distribution of the corresponding SMS, the zone is disconnected from control and subsequent triggering of the sensors of this zone does not lead to SMS distribution. This zone will be switched on only during the next control. Disarming mode The disarming mode is activated when zone 1 is violated (the indicator on the electronic key reader flashes red). After recognizing the code of the electronic key attached to the reader, KSITAL GSM-T switches to the control disabled mode, which is accompanied by two short beeps and a change in the indicator light. If KSITAL GSM-T is used as a burglar alarm, then the sensors that control the front door and hallway are connected to zone 1, and when they are triggered, SMS messages are sent after a programmable delay. Over time 18

19 delay, it is necessary to remove KSITAL GSM-T from control with a pre-registered electronic key. If necessary, it can be programmed to send a Control systemy snjat message to the main phone upon disarming (see Section Setting the Disarm and Control Information Mode). 8.6.Programming additional features Programming the 1st zone activation delay The line in the Zaderjka= settings defines the delay time between the activation of zone 1 sensors and the sending of an SMS about zone activation. During this time, it is necessary to remove KSITAL GSM-T from control by attaching the registered electronic key to the reader. To change the delay time, you need to edit the two digits after the = sign. Examples of setting this line: Zaderjka=05, Zaderjka=15, Zaderjka=99. The delay time can vary from 01 seconds to 99 seconds. Default value: Zaderjka = Setting the mode of information about disarming and arming the system The line in the RI= settings sets the mode of information about disarming and arming the system. RI=0 means do not send SMS about the removal of the system control; RI=1 means to send an SMS to the main phone about the control; RI=2 means to send an SMS to the main phone about removal from control; RI=3 means to send an SMS to the main phone about removal from control and about putting on control. Default value: RI= Programming automatic start sirens The line in the Syrena= settings specifies whether the siren should be turned on when the controlled zone is violated. Syrena=0 means do not turn on relay 3 and actuators connected to it in case of violation of controlled zones. Syrena=1 means to automatically turn on relay 3 and actuators connected to it for 2 minutes in case of violation of controlled zones. Default value: Sirena=0. 19

20 8.6.4 Programming the panic button The line in the Knopka= settings sets the possibility of using the 4th zone for connecting panic buttons. Knopka=0 means that the 4th zone is used in normal mode, i.e. in the state removed from control, the system does not react to the triggering of sensors connected to this zone. Knopka=1 means that the 4th zone is controlled and in the uncontrolled state of the system. This allows you to connect panic buttons to this zone. Clicking on any of them in the unmonitored state of the system will send SMS: Alarm! Attack. Default value: Knopka= Editing the list of registered electronic keys KSITAL GSM-T allows you to selectively register or de-register any of the 6 electronic keys. line in settings kluch= indicates the presence or absence of the corresponding additional key in the system configuration. -corresponds to the number of the electronic key in the system (from 1 to 6). Changing the value of the line corresponding to one of the keys from 0 to 1 after restarting the controller will trigger the registration of a new key (see the Installation and first start-up section). 1kluch=0 means that key 1 is missing in the system configuration. 1kluch=1 means that key 1 is present in the system configuration. Changing the value of the line corresponding to one of the keys from 1 to 0 after restarting the controller erases the code of the previously registered key in memory. If you need to install a new key in place of the previously registered one, you must first erase the code of the previously registered key in memory. Default values: 1kluch=0, 2kluch=0, 3kluch=0, 4luch=0, 5kluch=0, 6kluch= Programming the text of SMS messages the specific use of the zone. The message text is replaced by sending an SMS command of the appropriate format to a cell phone connected to the controller. Replace command format: N(message text from 1 to 60 characters)xxxxx, where N is the zone number, and xxxxx is replaced by a PIN code (00000 by default). Highlighted characters 20

21 are mandatory. There must be no spaces before the PIN and after the zone number. Command example: 2(Trevoga! Utechka gaza!) 00000 or 3(Vnimanie! Nedopustimo vysokoe davlenie vody v truboprovode!) Remote arming command format KSITAL GSM-T can be controlled by sending an SMS to a cell phone connected to the controller with the command Install control xxxxx, where instead of xxxxx is the system PIN (00000 by default). The highlighted characters are required. A space before the PIN is also required. Command example: Settanovit control or Ust control Remote microphone remote activation command format To remotely turn on the remote microphone, send SMS to the cell phone connected to the controller: Mikrofon xxxxx, where instead of xxxxx is the system PIN code (00000 by default). The highlighted characters are required. A space is also required between n and the PIN. After the command is recognized, the controller will make a call back to the main phone 00 SMS with the external microphone turned on. The microphone will be turned off automatically after disconnection at the initiative of the owner of the main phone 00 SMS. 9. Indication of modes and system messages 21

22 Important notes The KSITAL GSM-T control system uses insignificant traffic, so it is preferable to use a tariff without a monthly fee, for example Super Jeans MTS. However, it must be remembered that this tariff does not allow for the use of paid services within 180 days. Control the state of the account and do not allow it to be blocked. You can use a 12V uninterruptible power supply instead of a backup battery and AC adapter. But in this case, the information about the loss of 220V voltage becomes unavailable to the controller and, accordingly, SMS about the loss of voltage is not sent. If necessary, you can use the mobile phone connected to the controller to make regular calls. The system settings and the mailing list are stored on the SIM card. Therefore, when changing the SIM card, it is necessary to re-create the list of phones and edit the settings as during the initial launch. On the contrary, it will not be necessary when replacing a mobile phone if you replace the SIM card with settings from the old phone into it. If you delete the main phone number in the address book, recorded in the 10th cell, then the next time you restart the distribution list will be replaced by empty templates. To restore the default settings, you must erase all SMS on the SIM card of the cell phone connected to the controller, and then restart the controller by turning the power off and then on again. For greater reliability and speed of SMS delivery, try to use the same mobile operator to send and receive SMS. If you need to use the services of different operators, first make sure that there are appropriate agreements between them. It is also useful to check the practically stable delivery and the absence of distortions in messages. When writing SMS commands, you must use the Latin text encoding. Otherwise, the SMS you sent may not be recognized by the controller as an executable command. 22

GSM boiler control

Cellular boiler and heating equipment control system
KSITAL GSM-4T GSM-8T GSM-12T

By using gsm alarm and control - the possibility of automatic boiler control or an external heater from the built-in temperature sensor.

GSM controller is intended for notification via a cellular communication channel about the failure of heating equipment and remote control of it using a cellular gsm phone.

The built-in analog temperature sensor and up to 5 digital external sensors continuously measure the temperature.

When the room temperature drops, the system sends SMS-messages about this to cell phones, the numbers of which are previously stored in the memory.

In case of loss of 220V voltage in the controlled room, the corresponding SMS is also sent.

The GSM boiler and heating equipment controller uses a built-in GSM module.

The cellular alarm system allows you to remotely start heating equipment by SMS command from a remote cell phone.

In addition to controlling the boiler and heating equipment, the KSITAL-GSM-T system has additional capabilities for notifying via SMS about the operation of various sensors connected to the controller inputs.

GSM Guard (for Windows)
- designed for automated monitoring of remote objects and organizationsremote control for centralized monitoring of objects(monitoring station), equipped with GSM - control and management systems.

iKsytal program (for iOS, for Android)

THERMICS-GSM(for Android)
- designed to improve the usability of the GSM-control system for heating equipment Ksital GSM-4T.
It is installed in smartphones with the Android operating system.
The program allows you to control the heating boiler, lighting, control the temperature in the heating system and the room, turn on any additional device, arm and disarm the object, receive alarm messages and much more. Allows you to set your own names for temperature sensors and output relays.

It is a controller to which security or fire sensors are connected. The built-in GSM module is used as a transmitter.

When any sensor is triggered, an SMS message is sent indicating the violated zone according to the list of telephones (up to 10 numbers) previously stored in memory.

Controls up to 12 security zones, has 3 relays to control actuators.

It is used for the protection of cottages, apartments, control of heating and technological equipment, power failure 220V, etc.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND BASIC PARAMETERS

The cellular notification and control system KSITAL GSM-4T is designed for remote monitoring and control of stationary non-telephonized objects using a cellular phone. It can be: a house, a summer house, an apartment, an office, a warehouse, a retail outlet, a garage, etc.

Using SMS and voice dialing, the system informs about the operation of various sensors connected to the controller inputs. These can be motion, vibration, glass breaking, smoke, gas leakage, flooding, pressure sensors, or simply door bell. The message text for each input can be changed according to the purpose of the sensor.

Messages are sent sequentially to a pre-recorded list of phones.

Upon receipt of an SMS message with a control command, the controller can turn on or turn off any of the three relays built into it. In this way, various devices such as heating, sauna, pumps, lighting, etc. can be controlled remotely. from a cell phone.

One built-in and up to five remote temperature sensors continuously measure the temperature in the room. The system collects data from all connected temperature sensors and sends them in a report in the form of a table.

When the room temperature goes beyond the specified range, SMS messages about this are sent to cell phones, the numbers of which are previously entered in the telephone directory on the SIM card.

The system has a mode of automatic maintenance of the temperature in the room, controlling the heating system using a built-in relay. The stabilization temperature value is set by an SMS command from a remote cell phone. You can simultaneously set two room temperature values - day and night. This will allow in case electric heating Significantly save on electricity bills by setting the night temperature higher than the daytime temperature. At the same time, heating will mainly work at night, warming up the room at a cheaper rate.

The following can be easily connected to the controller: an external status indicator "under control", for example, a street light annunciator, or a control panel for an additional alarm system.

If there is a possibility of a 220V voltage shutdown at the facility, then a 12V backup battery must be used, which will be charged by the controller as needed.

If there is a backup battery, the system remains fully operational during a 220V power outage, reports the loss/appearance of voltage and the discharge of the backup battery.

There are two SIM-card readers installed on the controller board, one for the main and one for the backup operator. The system will automatically switch to a backup operator in case of loss of the network of the main operator or failures in the transmission of SMS through it. The possibility of sound control of the room with the help of additional external microphones is provided.

The presence of two Xital GSM systems, remote from each other and configured as "partners", allows you to timely fix problems with the cellular network or the use of jamming radio signals.

The system is designed for installation inside a controlled facility and is designed for round-the-clock operation at temperatures from -350C to +500C.

The power consumed by the system from the AC mains is not more than 10 watts.

CONTROLLER KSITAL GSM-4T

INTEGRATED DEVICES

Built-in GSM module
temperature sensor
Backup battery charger and uninterruptible power supply system
Touch Memory electronic key controller
Relay for controlling additional devices (3 pcs.)

The built-in temperature sensor is located on the controller board inside the case. The sensor has an accuracy of ±1.50С.

The backup battery is charged in the presence of a 220V network.

The charge level of the backup battery is not guaranteed when the mains voltage is below 200V or when using a non-standard adapter.

In the presence of a backup battery, the controller provides uninterrupted power supply to the sensors connected to it with a constant voltage of 12V.

The controller of the Touch Memory electronic key reader is implemented on the KSITAL GSM board. Digital code packets pass through the wires connecting the reader and the controller. This eliminates the possibility of controlling the controller modes by manipulating the wiring, such as removing from control without having a registered key.

The KSITAL GSM controller has 3 built-in relays. The relay output contacts are brought to the external terminals. Relays are used for automatic or SMS-command control of various devices. Relay contacts are designed for voltage up to 240V. For reasons of reliability and durability of the relay, it is undesirable to connect powerful devices (more than 200 watts) directly to the controller.

SIM READERS

The controller board has two SIM card readers, labeled SIM1 and SIM2. The SIM card of the main mobile operator is installed on the SIM1 position, and the SIM card of the backup operator is installed on the SIM2 position, if necessary. The system will switch to a backup operator in case of loss of the network of the main operator or failures in the transmission of SMS through it.

SENSOR CONTROL INPUTS

Up to 4 zones can be allocated on a controlled object. Each of the zones can be represented by a resistor and any required number of sensors connected in one loop and connected to one of the 4 controller inputs and the "COM" terminal.

The recommended total loop resistance is 3.6 kOhm. With this resistance, the voltage at the zone input will be approximately 7.2V. This is 50% of the voltage that occurs at the zone input when the loop breaks (100% corresponds to the voltage at the battery terminals).

The zone is considered violated if the voltage at the zone input goes beyond the specified range (normal). By default, this range is set from 25% to 75%. Thus, a break in the loop (voltage = 100%) or shorting the input to the "COM" terminal (voltage = 0%) will trigger the input. The range limits can be changed separately for each

GSM ANTENNA

Upon delivery, the controller is equipped with a detachable GSM standard antenna with a cable length of 2.5 m. Connector type - SMA.

It is unacceptable to place the antenna inside a metal box or in close proximity to metal structures.

POWER ADAPTER

The system delivery set includes a power supply unit for connecting the controller to the 220V network.

Input voltage: ~200V... 240V
Output voltage: 18V... 21V
Load current: up to 300mA
Operation temperature of the built-in thermal fuse: +1350C

To avoid overheating and subsequent irreversible tripping of the thermal fuse, it is necessary to ensure free air flow to the power supply.

BACKUP BATTERY 12V

The backup battery is connected to the controller through a specially designed for this nest.

Any lead-acid battery with a voltage of 12V and a capacity of up to 7.2A/h can be used as a backup battery. Such batteries are traditionally used in security systems and uninterruptible power supplies for personal computers.

If a battery with a much larger capacity is to be used (for example, a car battery), then it must be fully charged before connecting to the controller.

REMOTE DIGITAL THERMAL SENSORS

Remote digital temperature sensors operate in the range from -550С to +1250С with an accuracy of ±0.50С. The measured temperature values are sent to the controller in the form of a digital code.

Temperature sensors are connected to the controller via the connector for the Touch Memory electronic key reader.

Each temperature sensor is completed with a 10m cable for connection to the controller.

The temperature sensor is not sealed and is not intended to be immersed in liquid.

If it is necessary to measure the temperature of the heat carrier in the pipe, it is recommended to tie the temperature sensor to the pipe with a heat-insulating tape. The length of the bandaged part of the pipe is 15-20 cm. When metal pipe to prevent damage to the sensor by stray currents, it is necessary to lay a layer of heat-resistant dielectric at least 5 mm thick between the sensor and the pipe.

EXPANSION UNITS

Additional expansion blocks allow you to increase the number of control zones and relays for controlling actuators.

The expansion units are connected to the controller via the connector for the Touch Memory electronic key reader.

The number of control zones (entrances) - 12.
The number of built-in relays is 4.
The maximum distance of the expansion unit from the controller is 100m.
The maximum number of expansion units in the system is 3

Each expansion unit is supplied with a 10m connection cable to the controller. The connection procedure and unit control commands are described in the operating manual of the extension unit.

TOUCH MEMORY KEY READER

The Touch Memory electronic key reader does not contain any key identification schemes.

The reader is completed with a 10m cable for connection to the controller. Up to three readers can be installed in the system.

MASTER KEY TOUCH MEMORY

The Touch Memory master key is used to register additional dongles.

The master key can be used to arm and disarm the system, but it is recommended to use additionally registered keys for this.

The master key is hard-wired to a specific instance of the processor installed in the KSITAL GSM controller.

Restoring a lost master key is possible only at a service center and requires a complete reprogramming of the controller.

TOUCH MEMORY KEYS

Together with the KSITAL GSM controller, electronic keys DS1990A manufactured by Dallas Semiconductor or compatible are used.

The keys are used to arm and disarm the system (see the "Mode Control" section).

Up to 6 Touch Memory electronic keys (except for the master key) can be registered in the system.

During the registration of an electronic key, its indelible code is stored in the controller's memory, which allows you to register the same key in several access control devices.

DETECTORS, SENSORS

The type of sensors used and their installation locations are selected based on the individual characteristics of the object. As detectors for operation in conjunction with the KSITAL GSM system, any sensors that, when triggered, can break or close the circuit, can be used.

It is possible to connect sensors with "open collector" type output with admissible current switching over 2mA.

For easy connection of sensors requiring an external voltage source, +12V voltage is provided at the controller terminals.

The total current consumed by the sensors from the +12V controller terminals must not exceed 160mA.

If more current is needed, a separate power supply for the sensors should be used. It is desirable that the additional power supply be with its own backup battery.

EXECUTIVE DEVICES

Up to three actuators can be connected to the system at the same time. These can be: a siren, a heater, water or gas supply valves or a control system for heating, air conditioning, ventilation, irrigation, sauna, lighting, etc.

Control of these devices is possible both automatically using the controller program, and forcibly using SMS commands sent from your cell phone.

Connecting powerful electrical appliances (more than 200 watts), electric motors is made through intermediate relays (contactors) of the appropriate power.

REMOTE MICROPHONE

Microphones of this type have a built-in amplifier and three wires for connection. Microphones of the MKU and SHOROH series can be cited as an example. These microphones are similar in characteristics, but differ in design. In practice, the MKU series showed slightly better shielding and, as a result, higher noise immunity.

TERMINAL "CONTROL"

Depending on the contents of the entry in the 51st cell of the telephone directory on the SIM card, the "Control" terminal can be used as:

Analog input to measure the voltage applied to this terminal in the range from 0 to 12V;
an input that controls the arming / disarming of the system from control by applying a voltage of 12V to it (+12V - the system is under control, 0V - control is removed). This allows you to use remote controls and security panels from third-party manufacturers to control the system;
open collector output. Allows you to control the load up to 100mA at voltage up to 15V. To control a more powerful load, an intermediate relay should be used.
