How to decorate a spruce board. Cutting board decoupage: the first steps in this technique

Ecology of consumption. Life hack: A cork board is a fairly functional item that is often used in the interior. Usually...

A cork board is a fairly functional item that is often used in the interior. As a rule, information sheets, records, photographs, children's drawings, etc. are fixed on the cork board. Importantdecorate it in an original way if its brown color in the interior does not look very attractive in a beautifully designed modern room.

The easiest way to make a board stylish and perfect for interior design is to drape it with a large piece of brightly colored fabric that matches the rest of the decor. Its boring color can be hidden under various interesting things or simply painted with acrylic paints.

It is not necessary to be an artist to make a bright piece of interior design out of a cork board. In order for the surface to acquire an original look, it is enough just to decorate it in the style of abstraction, zigzag in the interior or stripes.

Playing with the shape of the board is another interesting technique. Of course, you can hang a standard square or rectangular board on the wall, or you can show your imagination. In the office, children's room or in the work area, it is appropriate to hang a cork board in the form geographical map. You can also make puzzles from a whole sheet and place them at some distance from each other. Even the shape of a circle looks more original than a classic square.

Cork boards can be used not only for fastening and information materials. They perfectly hold stationery items or things for needlework. A great solution is to use a cork board to store jewelry.

It is enough to insert a cork board into a beautiful frame, and it will look completely different. In this case, the perception of the decor directly depends on the frame. It can be of a contrasting color with the board, antique, metal, etc.

Another option for using corkboard is to cover an entire wall with it. Cork - natural natural material, which has sound and heat insulation qualities. Its texture is quite pleasant, so this decision may well become part of the interior design. In addition to the decorative function, such a wall should be used for its intended purpose - for attaching various necessary little things. published

Decoupage technique has become more and more popular lately. It is a varnished application of napkins, postcards or various paper pictures. You can decorate absolutely any surface with decoupage - from to a banal cutting board. It is on her example that we will begin to master the basics of this technique. It will not take much time, and the result will definitely not disappoint you.

So, we need:
1. Cutting board.
2. White acrylic paint or acrylic primer.
3. Acrylic varnish.
4. Glue for decoupage (can be replaced with ordinary PVA).
5. Sandpaper (zero).
6. Paper napkin.
7. Brush.
8. Foam sponge.

First, the surface of our board must be primed. To do this, apply white acrylic paint on it with a sponge in 2 layers with intermediate drying.

Cut out the desired composition from the napkin chosen in advance and carefully remove the excess paper layer from it. Be careful if the napkin is two-layer, 1 layer will be superfluous, but if it is three-layer, then 2 layers.

We place our drawing on the surface of the board and carefully cover it with glue diluted with water in a 50/50 ratio. Do this very carefully from the middle to the edges. An already thin glue cloth will become even more vulnerable. Try to smooth out the wrinkles with light strokes of the brush.

Let the glue dry for a while.

If your composition only partially occupied the surface of the board, then empty spaces should also be decorated. Blot a piece of sponge in a suitable shade of acrylic paint and “punch” empty areas. You should not use gouache for this, otherwise, after coating the varnish, it will smudge, and your board will look untidy. After drying with a brush or sponge, apply acrylic varnish and let dry again. Do not worry, the varnish will be white at first, and, when it dries, it gradually becomes transparent.

Take a sandpaper-zero and carefully walk it along the side cut of the cutting board. So you will erase small flaws in the form of paint or glue.

If desired, you can once again walk with varnish on the surface. The more such varnish layers, the more durable your work will be. Well, if you decide to use the board for its intended purpose, then you need to put another layer of any furniture varnish. Do not forget that acrylic is washed off with water.
And here's what you might end up with:

By the way, the whole process took only 2 hours, and that was just because of drying!

Hello dear readers! Today we have a school theme, namely, I will tell you about the design of the board for September 1.

Knowledge Day is always a chore: you need to come up with some flowers, and maybe a gift to present to the teacher, collect the child for school and, of course, decorate the class. After all, children will probably like a festive classroom more than a standard office with desks, chairs and without a single hint of a holiday. Everything must be done to make children interested in learning, and a well-spent September 1 will be the basis for a great start to the school year.

Making a school board for September 1

Let's take a closer look at decoration options school board- perhaps the main detail of any educational institution institutions, without which it is simply unthinkable to imagine the learning process.

Decor Ideas for Grade 1

The smallest visitors to the school are first-graders. The design of the school board and the class for them should be approached with special responsibility and a great desire to please the kids. In the kindergarten, they often had holidays, walks, toys, and they would simply be bored in a gray office.

If the kids come to a festive, beautifully decorated class, this will certainly cheer them up and arouse (stimulate) interest in the further educational process. There are a lot of ideas for decorating the board, you can search for something on the net or show your imagination and do everything yourself. I offer you several options for decorating the board for the Day of Knowledge:

Decoration with bows, balloons and maple leaves. Such decoration of the board will be to the taste of the kids.

For registration you will need:

If one of the parents draws well, you can ask him to decorate the school board beautifully. For example, you can depict your favorite cartoon characters of the kids and add a school theme. First-graders are still inspired by the atmosphere of a fairy tale, so this decor is a win-win option.

Decoration with balloons. At the heart of all decorations for September 1 are flowers and balls. Today, many different shapes are made from balls. Starting from flowers and ending with cars. I suggest you take a look at an interesting option - balloon men with balloons in their hands. You can order them at a holiday agency, or you can try to make them yourself. Kids will really like such figures, they can be placed on both sides of the board, and the board itself can be decorated with beautiful thematic stencils and congratulations on the holiday.

The figures can symbolize a diligent student and student, or depict one of the popular fairy-tale characters, for example, Pinocchio.

Another idea for decorating with balloons, which will not leave indifferent any child. The standard classroom immediately turns in the imagination of the kids into an exotic distant land where palm trees grow and funny monkeys have fun.

Simple Ideas

There is not always money for expensive class design, so I offer you a few elementary options for decorating a school board, which will entail a minimum of costs, but children will definitely like it.

The first simple and interesting option. You will need:

  • White paper;
  • scotch;
  • balls;
  • Printer;
  • scissors.

Inflate some balloons and hang them on the board. We draw (can be downloaded on the Internet) a boy and a girl, flowers, the number 1 and letters. Cut everything out and glue it on the board. We print out a congratulatory verse and add it there. The inscription may be different, for example, “hello school”, “happy knowledge day” and other phrases that are suitable for the subject.

This cute little train is sure to please the kids. We also download it on the Internet, print it, cut it out and fix it on the board. We also glue the poster "Hello school" and a bell there. Then we cut out the clouds on which we write wishes for young students.

Such flowers can be made with your own hands and decorate the board. There are not many of them in the photo, but if you make them in large quantities and glue almost the entire board, then the kids will like this decoration.

Beauty, made as in the photo, will definitely appeal to children in grades 2 and 3. After all, they also like cartoon characters and they already know how to read. Each child will look with curiosity where his name is hidden on the board.

You can draw a book with chalk on the blackboard and glue a lot of butterflies around. They can be made from plain colored paper. It is done very simply looks indescribably beautiful.

Unusual design ideas

Making a sun from balloons

We will need:

  • yellow balls No. 16;
  • balls for modeling (SHDM) No. 260 (2 pcs.);
  • ball cut;
  • 2 shades of yellow balls No. 5;
  • pump;
  • high float (for processing balls);
  • sticker (eyes, mouth).

We make a knot from a cut balloon, put it in a 16 inch balloon and inflate our balloon to a rounded shape.

We connect two long balls for modeling and, when tying our ball, we put them into a knot.

We catch the knot, which we previously lowered into the ball, twist it.

We take one of the oblong balls, stretch it, wrap it around the knot and tie a knot with a small remainder. After that, we do the same with the second ball for modeling.

We proceed to the rays, take the balls No. 5, process them with a high float, because. we will turn them around. We take the pump, calibrate it to 1.5 strokes and pump each beam. Now we take the ball, give it an oblong shape and twist ¼ from the top. Now we twist this small circle in half. We do the same with the rest of the small balls.

Let's start attaching the rays to the sun. We take small balls and twist them with the modeling balls attached to the sun earlier. Alternates shades of yellow through one. When we are done with the rays, we glue the eyes and mouth. Our beautiful sun is ready.

Balloon flower

We will need:

  • several blue windmills No. 160;
  • small flower of white balls No. 10;
  • one ball number 5 yellow.

Blue balloons are inflated with helium, and white and yellow balloons are inflated with a conventional pump. We connect five large blue balls with each other, connecting a combination of 2 and 3 balls with each other and placing them in the same plane.

We do the same with five small white balls (we connect a set of 2 and 3 balls, respectively, to each other). We put a bunch of white balls from above in the center of the blue balls. We securely tie the blue balls with white ribbon several times, passing in a circle.

We twist the yellow five-ball in half and wind the middle between the white and blue balls. This must be done in such a way that the yellow ball, on the one hand, looks like the core of a flower, and on the other, it is securely fixed in the composition and allows you to fix the leg for it. We tie the inflated leg from the green ball to the back of the flower, securing it to the thickening of the yellow ball.

You can not complicate the process and make a flower only with the help of large helium balloons and a stem ball.

We will need 5 large blue balls and one white (#10). You also need a green ball for the role of the flower stem. Important detail- when inflating a white ball, you need to make 3 strokes with a pump and tie it so that the tail is as large as possible. Twist the white ball in the middle and hook it between the balls. We return the tail back and twist it together, then lower it down. On the back side, there is a place for attaching the tail, and in front - a white center. According to the previous scheme, we attach the stem. The flower is ready!

I hope these ideas will help you turn the classroom into a fabulous place where children will have fun and feel comfortable. Do not forget to subscribe to the blog, share the material with friends and on social networks. And I say goodbye to you on this, see you soon!

Sincerely, Anastasia Skoreva
