- Black marker.
- Hand saw.
- Screwdriver-drill.
- Hammer.

We're sawing a board.
We take our board and determine the size of the future hours. We draw and saw off the base with a hacksaw or hand saw. The 18mm board saws well and it is advisable to use a saw with fine teeth so that the edges are even and minimal machining is required after sawing.
Making squares
Further, on one of the corners of the base, I drew rectangles 10 x 5 cm. We drank them with a step. Then I cut these rectangles into 5 x 5 cm squares.Now you need to sand all the squares, removing burrs, and making the surface smooth.
We start milling holes for the clock mechanism.
We take the clock mechanism and apply it to the center of our base. Outline with a pencil. Next, we cut the recess. I used a wood cutter fixed in a screwdriver. You can also use a chisel and make a recess with it.
During work, we try on the recess to the mechanism. If everything is fine in the horse we drill a hole for the shaft exit, on which the arrows will be put on. After all the work done, we will process the base with sandpaper so that it becomes smooth.
Watch assembly
Before proceeding directly to the assembly of the watch, it is first necessary to prepare 18 small jumpers - connectors. Take a piece of plywood and use a hacksaw to cut 18 jumpers 0.7 x 4 cm.We arrange the base, lay out our squares almost in a chaotic manner. It is necessary to arrange the squares so that the plywood jumpers are practically invisible. On the reverse side, respectively, we connect everything with jumpers and nails.
Clock painting
For painting, I used spray paint from a spray can. We hold the balloon at a distance of 20 cm and spray on the watch, from one side. After a while, and the paint dries very quickly, we turn the clock over and spray the paint on the second side. Everything, the base is almost ready.
Draw numbers
I took a black permanent marker and just drew the numbers. There is another option - print the numbers on a computer, cut and paste. So you can do that too if you want.
