Once every 50-100 hours, the spark plugs are checked. Before checking, the wire is first removed, then the candle itself is unscrewed. As needed, the electrodes are cleaned with a brush; if there is damage, the candle is changed. If necessary, the distance between the electrodes can be adjusted. Assembled in reverse order.

The fuel tank is also checked. If there are leaks, call the experts.

The fuel filter can be cleaned by hand. To do this, turn on the tap, pull out the filter and the ring, rinse thoroughly with a non-flammable solvent, dry and reassemble. After that, turn the valve, checking the tightness.

If the generator set air filter is dirty, the amount of air flowing through the carburetor is reduced. If the generator is operated at high levels of dust, the filters must be cleaned more frequently than indicated in the instructions.

When cleaning the filter element, do not use gasoline or other flammable liquid. Otherwise, the risk of fire and even explosion increases. Any nonflammable solvent can be used for cleaning.

The operation of a gasoline generator without a filtration system is prohibited. Violation leads to early wear of the motor, breakdowns, replacements.

1. Remove cover fasteners. The cover is removed.
2. Inside there are two filters - sponge and paper. They must be carefully checked for damage and breaks. If present, the elements must be replaced.
3. The sponge element is washed in warm water. Soap solution or detergent is added to the water. After that, the element must be washed in a non-flammable solvent and dried. After drying, it is wetted in engine oil. Excess oil is removed, otherwise the engine will smoke at the time of the first start.
4. To clean the paper element from dust, you can blow it with compressed air or knock on a fairly hard surface. Do not use a brush or similar mechanical means to remove dirt. If the level of contamination is too high, the element must be replaced.
5. The filter is mounted in the reverse order.
