PRAYER BEFORE EATING

The last messenger of the Almighty said: “Before you start eating, each of you should say:“ Bismil-lyah. If he forgets about it at the beginning [of the meal], then let him say as soon as he remembers: “Bismil-lyahi fi avvalihi va aakhirihi” (“With the name of the Almighty at the beginning and at the end [of the meal]”).”

Allahumma baarik lanaa fih, wa at’imnaa khairan minh.

O Most High, make this a blessing for us and feed us that which is better than this."

Al-hamdu lil-lyahi llazii at’amanaa wa sakaanaa wa ja’alyanaa minal-muslimiyin.

"Praise be to the Almighty, Who fed and watered us and made us Muslims."

Therefore, every new convert who converted to Islam, everyone who began to pray, must diligently learn the minimum prayers that are necessary. The path of knowing God is the path to perfection.

Sufis believe that a perfect person is distinguished by akvoli nek (kind speeches), afjoli nek (good deeds), ahlok pek (good behavior), maorifi chek (noble deeds). Anyone familiar with Zoroastrianism will see here an undoubted parallel with the Avesta, which recognizes three qualities as sacred: guftori nek (kind words), pindori nek (good intentions) and kirdori nek (good deeds). Tatar Muslims, one of the most numerous peoples living on the territory of Russia and professing Islam, strive for this. Strengthening in their faith, the Tatars glorify Allah, the Gracious and Merciful, read the Koran in Arabic, and yet Muslim prayers in Tatar sound quite often.

Aziz Nasafi in the treatise "Maksad-ulakso" says: "The perfect man is mentioned under different names, endow him with virtues corresponding to all the qualities of good morality. They called him a sheikh, a leader, a leader ... a mirror of the world, a great antidote, a life-giving elixir. Called Jesus resurrecting the dead; Khizrom, who managed to find and drink the source of life; Solomon, who knows the language of birds.

One of the key concepts in the Sufi concept of a perfect person is poppy. Translated from Arabic - stay, life, deed, parking. In Sufi wisdom, poppy is used in the meaning of a station, while the person himself is likened to a traveler, whose path passes from one station to another. Until the traveler fulfills all the requirements of the first maqom, he should not move on to the second maqom, and so on. For example, one who is not able to be satisfied with a small thing - poppy kanoat, he does not have the right to turn to God, that is, to be in the maqom of hope - tavakkal. From maqom it is necessary to distinguish khol - divine illumination. Hol, “although it is a reward for long and tireless self-sacrifice, nevertheless, it cannot be caused by an effort of will or the efforts of the traveler himself, just as inspiration cannot be caused, although it is given only to those who direct all their thoughts to a single goals".
