But all flights always end with landings. In 1995, the pilot landed his plane in the small Russian village of Kuznechikha, in the Kalinin region. There he decided to stay, and Bernard came to visit. Over time, his son decided to take up restaurant business and opened several bars and restaurants around the world. Meetings with his father prompted Bernard to open an art club in Moscow near the Kitay Gorod metro station with an intriguing name: “Chinese Pilot Zhao Da”. And recently a similar institution with the same name was opened in Yaroslavl. Now posters "Chinese pilot jao da" adorn Yaroslavl as well.
