How to make all armor in terra firma. Guide to professions in TERA - which one is more profitable to take

How to collect?

Collecting things is very easy: just walk up to an object that can be picked up and press "F", all such items are highlighted on your radar.

The professionalism of the gatherer is a very important parameter, because in order to extract / collect some materials, you need a certain skill of the gatherer. Plus, the higher your skill, the higher your chance of successful mining. The skill is pumped at any collection - whether it is successful or unsuccessful, but a positive result has a better effect on pumping.

What will I get by collecting?

The three main crafting resources are obtained by collecting plants, ores and essences. Also sometimes you can collect rare resources needed for herbalism or alchemy, for example.

In addition to the resources that you collect, you will also receive a buff. These buffs vary: some can increase your movement speed, some can restore health and mana, or increase your stamina. Each of the buffs can stack up to three times.

And, of course, your Gathering skill is also pumped.

Productivity points

You may notice a box with a decreasing value every time you collect. These are performance points. Each attempt to collect something will take 10 productivity points from you, while they are restored by 5 points every 5 minutes. Crafting also takes productivity points from you, but the number of points taken here already varies. If you need to quickly restore these points, you can purchase special potions - Crafter's Cure and Crafter's Cure-All to restore a certain amount of points. These potions are available from merchants or Valkyon Outfitters.

What is craft?
Crafting allows you to craft anything from potions to bombs to top quality weapons. The materials required for crafting can either be obtained or collected, or they drop from monsters in the dungeons and in the regular world.
Craft Types
There are four professions in the game: alchemy, weaponsmithing, armor creation and etching (from the word "etch"). Of all these professions, only the last one requires level 60 to start learning it. Starting to create the appropriate items, you will pump these professions, if you wish, you can reach the highest level, 500th level of mastery of the profession.

To craft the Visionmaker, one of the best sets in the game, you need to be at least level 400 as a gunsmith and armor maker.

Alchemy

Using alchemy, you can create consumable items: potions, scrolls, etc. You can also turn your character into a handsome man. In addition to ingots, cloths, and other common looking consumables, alchemy can also use special materials, "refined" rare versions of the items it collects.

gunsmithing

You can learn this profession in order to create weapons for any class in TERA.

  • For classes focused on physical damage (lancer, reaper, berserker, warrior, assassin), this profession will consume "refined" ingots from ore. Therefore, the weaponsmithing-mining profession/skill combination is a very important link for these classes.
  • For casters and rdds (priest, mystic, wizard, archer), this profession consumes purified alloys of energy crystals from essences. Therefore, it is better for these classes to pump in the skill of collecting essences.

Armor Creation

There is nothing special here either: you study this profession and create cool boots / gloves / armor for yourself from fabric, leather or metal.

  • For classes with heavy armor (lancer, berserker), the creation of armor will require all the same refined ingots as in weapons.
  • The leather armor worn by the Reaper, Warrior, Archer, and Assassin will require crafted hides. This is the only armor that is not related to gathering, as the skins drop exclusively from killed monsters.
  • Cloth armor used by wizards, mystics, and priests will require refined fibers. For these classes, the skill of picking plants is important.

Etching

Etching allows you to create scrolls that temporarily or permanently improve the performance of your equipment. This is the only profession that requires level 60 to start learning. Etching requires awards in all three "gathering" professions. They are not very easy to get, so start earning them as early as possible.

  • Normal scrolls provide a 3-day buff, but their critical versions give a permanent effect, also with improved stats.
Increasing the level of crafting
To start crafting, you need to understand what you need to do. In the main cities - Velika, Allemantheia and Kaiator - there are entire "crafting locations". They are marked with the following symbols:

Just go there and buy a few "blanks" of your choice, which you will start creating items from. Make sure they are NOT grey, as that means they are out of your crafting skill level. Once you have purchased a blank, referred to in the game as "design", simply right-click on it and examine it. After that, by pressing J you can go to the crafting window and examine the thing closer.

The PI will show how many of these items you can create from the materials you have. It will also show you how much experience you get and how many productivity points you get for each unit you create.

Craft Specialization

The more you create things, the more experience you will have and the higher your skill level will be. In total, the game has 500 levels of pumping, however, having reached level 500, you can try to become an artisan, a legend of this profession. Each character can become an artisan in only one profession. You can drop your specialization, but your crafting skill will then drop back to 500, and any crafting recipes you learn will be lost.

Crits while crafting

When you craft an item, there is a small chance for a crit. If you get a crit while refining materials, you will receive an additional amount of them. If you get a crit while crafting a high-level item, you can craft a flawless version of that item, depending on its type. The crafting window itself will show in case of a crit whether it passed and what plus you get. If you want to increase the chance of such a crit, you can try using an artisan additive potion.

What is a Flawlessly Crafted Item?

In general, flawless crafting is one way to apply enchantment effects to your item. If the item is flawless, it can have many additional effects. Viewing an item's blank will show you what benefits a flawless version of that item can provide.

And further! You have an amazing opportunity until the end of this month to take part in the cutest and fluffiest competition from the site - "TERA Style My Pet"!

As a prize, a VIP status and a sweet pet - "Sweetie" will be raffled off!

Hello everyone, in this post I want to dedicate you to the gathering and crafting system in TERA and also talk about how to upgrade all types of crafting in just a few hours, I will try to describe everything as detailed and interesting as possible, so fans of crafting, alchemy and other things, this the post is for you.

gathering

Let's take gathering as the basis of crafting, since the material collected by us will be used in the future to craft the things we need, in particular, more for alchemy, since I consider other types of crafting only for self-dressing, in the ter 3 types of gathering that we will have to download starting from starting location:

  • Mining - Gathering ore
  • Plants - Collection of plants
  • Energy - Gathering Essences

Each of the collections is downloadable, and has a peak of 300 collected items. I repeat that it is better to start downloading the collection from the starting loki, because if it will be difficult to score on this matter in the future, for example, in order to collect resourses on high locks, we need a pumped collection up to 250. Collecting is swinging very simply, as you take lvl. Throughout the entire leveling of the character, at each location you will meet flowers, essences and ore that you will need to collect, for collecting one resource you will receive one collection point, you can see how much your collection is pumped up in the character tab in the Gathering menu.

Flowers

Essences

Ore

Gathering Menu

In addition to all this, there are also gathering achievements in the game, having collected 300 flowers, ores or essences, we get a new title and reward.

  • For 300 ore we get a halo.
  • For 300 flowers we get a camomile.
  • For 300 essences we get a sphere.

Any of the received awards can be put on your head, it looks like this:

Nimbus

That’s all for me about gathering, let’s move on to the no less interesting part, namely crafting.

craft

As I already said, only alchemy is important for me personally in the ter, but this does not mean that we will bypass all other types of crafting, at lvl 60 all types of crafting can be completely closed in a few hours, but I will tell you about pumping a little lower, but for now that we will analyze what types of crafting are available to us and what they are for. In total, there are 7 types of craft in the ter, the last type of alliance craft was added with the last patch, and for me it is less needed than all the others. So let's move on to the types:

  • Armorsmithing - Craft heavy armor.
  • Weaponsmithing - Craft swords, bows, duals, mines.
  • Tailoring - Craft cloth armor.
  • Focuscrafting - Craft staves, discs, sceptres.
  • Leatherworking - Craft leather armor.
  • Alchemy - Craft cans, scrolls.
  • Alliance Supplies - Craft items for wars in alliance territory.

Each of the types is useful in its own way, but as for me, it is only necessary for lvl 60 for crafting visionmaker and nightforge armor and weapons for your class, in my opinion it is beneficial to use only alchemy to earn money. All recipes and crafting materials can be obtained in several ways.

  • Buy on auction
  • Buy from special merchants
  • Knock out from mobs
  • Knock out from bosses

The most valuable crafting materials fall from bosses in 60s dungeons, with alchemy the situation is much simpler, just assembling flowers is enough. Now let's get down to the most important thing, to pumping craft.

Download craft

Some of you, having reached this part, may think "Bloo, I suppose, it's a chore to download craft and it's terrifying", but it's not. You can close any of the types by spending an hour of time without resorting to assembling resources and other things, everything is terribly simple, we will download craft by quests, and for this we need:

  • NPC "Board with tasks".
  • A little time.
  • A little patience.

You can find a board in every city and the territory adjacent to it, our path of crafting will begin from it, having found the board, we communicate with it and go to the Crafting tab, in this tab you will find tasks for each type of craft, for the full pumping of one of the types crafting will take you about an hour, the tasks will be 9 stages, each of the completed tasks will give us 50 crafting points of the selected type. The tasks are painfully simple, run to the NPC to take the recipe from him, learn the recipe, craft what the NPC asks for and bring everything crafted back to him. Resources for crafting will also be given to you by the NPC on the quest, you just need to buy what is missing, but it doesn’t matter, buying it costs a penny.

NPS Board

crafting

You can craft on assignments in cities and beyond, in cities such as Velika and Allemantheia we will craft on special machines, each type of craft uses its own machine, the machines look like this:

crafting machine

Outside of cities, having all the necessary materials on hand, you can craft at Campfire (Byfires for stamina regen) and at fires in suburban camps. It is necessary to buy materials for tasks in cities in crafting zones from NPCs who usually stand next to the machines, for each type of crafting there are 2 NPCs, one of which you will find designs for crafting and the second necessary material, except for the fact that you can buy from the auk or knock out from mobs.

NPC with materials

Using the machines is crazy simple, you need to select the machine you need and the type of crafting, after which a window with learned recipes will open, select the necessary thing, click Create All and wait for it all to be crafted.

crafting window

Outside of cities, when crafting in camps and at Campfire, the crafting menu is called up using the J button. This is how crafting in the Tera swings. Each of the types has its own number of points, for crafting armor and weapons of maximum lvl we need 410 crafting points, for alchemy the maximum value is 350. That’s probably all for me, if you have any questions about crafting, contact me in the PM, I will explain everything .

The crafting system in TERA Online is quite simple, but at the same time extensive. Here you will have to collect materials and clean them with reagents, followed by combining with some purchased parts and elements according to the recipe. To create clothes, you will need to collect fiber from plants, for metal - ore from rocks.
Try your luck!

Crafting Basics

The crafting system in TERA Online is quite simple, but at the same time extensive. Here you will have to collect materials and clean them with reagents, followed by combining with some purchased parts and elements according to the recipe. To create clothes, you will need to collect fiber from plants, for metal - ore from rocks. And if you need to make some alchemical elements, you will have to extract energy from the fragments of crystals. You will have to use alchemy if you want to craft weapons with increased focus. Drop from monsters can contain runes of two titans that endow items with magical properties:
Runes of Shara - fill the weapon with the power of Shar's;
Runes of Arun - fill the armor with the power of Arun "a.
For high-level weapons and armor, you will also need Runes of Titans, which imbue items with the power of both titans.

Any character can craft any item, no matter what class the item is for. The workshops (craft halls) in Velika, Allemantheia and Kaiator sell the main parts and any pieces you need. In the course of crafting, regardless of the final result, you upgrade your crafting skill, but successful crafting significantly speeds up the leveling. Processing enough materials to create multiple items can increase your crafting skill enough to allow you to create those items yourself. Buy a recipe, study it, collect all the ingredients and make an item!

Fine tuning

To get the most out of your content, you need to know three things.
First, you can't buy best recipes in the shop. To find crafting recipes that will teach you how to create the rarest and best items, you must kill monsters. If you are lucky enough to learn such a recipe, your abilities will be in great demand among other players.

Secondly, you can get rid of things you don't need (destined for another class, low level, etc.) by what is called extraction. Extraction recipes, available from the main merchants, will teach you how to break items apart and get rare materials from them. Are these slippers old? Dismantle them into pieces, from which it will be possible to make a new robe. Did you receive this custom ax as a reward for completing a quest? Break it for steel!

And finally, the enchantment. You can enchant all items dropped by monsters. To enchant crafted items, they must first be set up. For this setup, you need to visit the workshop and use the crafting shop. If you enchant your item, you will receive a certain benefit. Once the item is configured, you can enchant it anywhere and anytime.

Crafting in Tera is an integral part of the gameplay. They can be played at any stage of the game.

In almost any client game, gathering, crafting and manufacturing of armor and weapons are highly developed. Some games provide an opportunity to collect jewelry or vehicles. Tera is no exception, in it from the first steps you can not only fight and pump skills, but also peacefully collect plants and ore.

Crafting in Tera does not require any additional skills to be learned. In truth, when ordering this material, it was not even supposed that crafting and gathering would cause any difficulties for Tera players. However, comments on the post showed that many people are still confused about crafting. Therefore, the material had to be slightly expanded ...

Waste over craft...

There are players who bypass this branch of character development, focusing on the combat aspect. Collecting all sorts of ingredients is considered a waste of time. However, it is not. In addition to selling the collected wealth, there is an opportunity to engage in the manufacture of certain types of weapons and uniforms, which will make good money later.

For a bit more about gathering in Tera, see an additional tiny note.

It is advisable to start collecting immediately, from the first location. All types of collected resources will be used for crafting. In order to start gathering, no additional skills or items are required. That is, the character does not need to buy shovels, picks or baskets, and also perform a special task to obtain the skill.

The collection must begin from the first minutes of the game in Tera

When collecting resources, the character receives a small amount of experience.

Who is looking…

Main resources in the game:

  • Plants and fibers are harvested
  • Essences are obtained by collecting
  • Leather and runes drop from slain monsters; runes are also crafted using alchemy

When extracting plants, fibers, essences, you pump the collection and at the same time spend production points. Every day you get no more than 4 thousand points. If you have exhausted this value, you will not be able to gather or produce anything. The collection level also depends on the degree of difficulty - if the collection level of your character is higher than the resource, then you will not increase this level anymore. Will have to look for another location. Buffs are sometimes applied for collecting resources in Tera. For example, Gain Courage which increases Stamina by 5%, Gain Health which speeds up health regeneration, Gain Soul to regenerate mana quickly, Bless Speed to move quickly, and Gain Knowledge to gather faster.

Why, when planning to make money on this, you need to start working from the first minutes of the game? The fact is that when collecting resources, experience points are given. Moving to cooler locations as the character grows, the player gets the opportunity to collect ingredients of a higher rank. And this cannot be done if experience points are not gained on simple resources. The excitement of those who are afraid of not having time to pump the gathering in any particular location is not justified. There are a lot of resources, they appear quite often, you don’t have to line up for them. That is, when performing some simple task, you can collect a decent amount of the necessary resources, while earning the required number of pumping points.

For collecting each ingredient, the character receives one experience point. In this case, there is a chance of obtaining an improved version. For example, while collecting a plant, the character at some point will find an item of a higher quality in his bag.

Titles and awards

In addition to money from the sale of resources and the ability to create personal armor, the character receives a title and an award. Of course, not immediately, but only after collecting 300 units of plants, ore or essences. The reward is specific, for flowers a chamomile is given, for essences - a sphere, but for ore you can get a halo. All rewards are visible, they can be moved to a specific character menu cell and immediately see external changes.

All you need is experience in collecting or financial means to purchase the necessary ingredients. In total, there are several types of manufacturing in the game:

  • Craft non-magical weapons such as: spears, swords, duals, bows.
  • Craft magical weapons: discs, scepters, staves.
  • Craft heavy armor.
  • Craft light armor.
  • Craft cloth armor.
  • Craft jars and scrolls.
  • Craft items for wars in guild territories. The innovation was introduced quite recently. But for this you need to join the guild ...

Profitable occupations

Naturally, a whole list of questions arises, starting with the choice of a certain craft for pumping and ending with calculations of the profitability of one or another type. In fact, the problem is easy to solve if you understand exactly what exactly you need to get in the end.

When collecting, selling resources and creating equipment, the character receives a title and rewards

Firstly, already at the stage of choosing a race, it would be nice to take into account unique skills that give advantages in one or another crafting option. For example, Humans are faster at crafting light armor, and Castanics are good at crafting metal weapons. Elves are great at collecting essences, and Popori are generally considered the best collectors. Of course, all this is not so important, in the long run, but at first it will speed up the pumping of the necessary skills.

Secondly, you need to choose the desired type of crafting. If you have a lot of time and money, you can try to raise all directions, but usually they take one or two types. It is unlikely that the Knight will need to craft magic weapons, and the Priest will need to master the skill of crafting heavy armor. But alchemy, or the preparation of elixirs needed in battle, will be needed by everyone.

Craft can be pumped for a long time, as you play, and quickly - due to tasks

Thirdly, Decide on the possible options for pumping craft. The fact is that you can download it for yourself or friends - gradually collect resources, accumulate money, do something necessary. Or you can not waste time on this, and just complete a chain of quests, receiving 50 experience points for each. That is, by completing all the necessary tasks in sequence, the character becomes a professional in one form or another of crafting.

For manufacturing, not only the resources collected in the vastness of the game are required. There are certain materials that can be obtained in the following ways:

  • Knock off a monster
  • Knock out from the boss
  • Buy from NPC
  • Buy at auction
  • Buy / exchange / receive as a gift from friends.

Crafting quests

So, there are two main types of pumping desired type crafting. Long - as the game progresses. Fast - due to tasks. Each has its pros and cons. For example, on entry levels, it will not be possible to upgrade craft to the highest level without additional investments. Too many things to buy. With a long version, the bad thing is that at all stages of the game time is spent collecting the necessary ingredients, searching for crafting machines, and also buying the missing resources. So the player will have to think about whether he needs to collect and craft things, or is it easier to save money to buy cans, scrolls, weapons and armor through the auction.

Recipes allow you to craft items of a certain level. They are bought from NPCs in major cities or occasionally dropped from mobs.

Crafting requires not only raw materials, but also special blueprints that can be bought directly in the craft hall from the appropriate NPCs. Some blueprints also drop from mobs. You collect raw materials on your own, walking around the locations, or purchasing them at an auction. With all this household, you approach the craft tools and start crafting - you can make one item or order a batch to be made. In the latter case, the character consistently creates one thing after another until the resources or points allocated for crafting run out. Each crafted item increases the character's crafting experience. Over time - similar to the collection - you will stop receiving it. This means that your crafting level is higher than the crafting item. In these cases, you need to get new recipes from NPCs for more complex items. Gradually increase the level, you move from beginner to journeyman, from journeyman to master. By increasing the rank, you will have to pass additional tests.

In order to move from the rank of Novice to Apprentice, and then to the Master, you need to gain 500 experience points. With the active collection of resources, this can be done in a few days ...

New recipes add to the list of items available for crafting...

Thus, you can craft melee and ranged weapons, heavy armor, leather equipment, cloth equipment, alchemical potions and scrolls, jewelry, as well as runes, through which objects are “born”. It is worth recalling that you won’t be able to master everything at once - so specialize. Let's say if you want to cut costs on all kinds of jars and scrolls, go into alchemy, and if you prefer to make rings for sale, make jewelry. The higher the crafting level, the higher quality items can be crafted. They are generally better than those obtained by completing quests. So, weapons have parameters such as attack modifier, additional damage and additional mana higher than regular weapons.

ps. The article was slightly updated in January 2016 - explanatory screenshots from the Russian version of Tera were added and some crafting subtleties are described in more detail.

TERA is a three-dimensional (3D) role-playing game developed by Bluehole Studio. computer game(MMORPG) in fantasy style. Gameplay in Tera, like in most games of this type, involves different kinds activities:

  • craft,
  • quests,
  • PvE, PvP, etc.

The characters are controlled using a gamepad, mouse or keyboard. Any character who has reached a certain level needs to craft items from the mined different ways resources. They will help him survive, make it easier to pass to another level.

Gathering System and Production Points

There are two ways to create items in TERA: Gathering and Production. You can replenish the necessary resources either by mining ore or by collecting essences and plants. To do this, you need to master three professions:

  • Mining (be able to mine the ore needed to make heavy armor and weapons);
  • Energy (collect crystals to purchase essences of insight, flight, night, light, etc., which will be needed in the manufacture of weapons);
  • Plant - collection of plants needed for cloth armor.

Acquired skills need to be improved, for this they should be pumped. Gathering professions can be upgraded until the player reaches level 300. It is advisable to start collecting resources from the first steps. Every 50 locations, the player advances to the next rank until he rises to Achievement (achievement). At this rank, he is given a special cap on his head.

As the Gathering level increases, the ability to obtain rare or special resources increases, which are used to craft better items. If a character has mastered all three professions before reaching the Achievement level, the number of slots in his inventory increases by one row. All items obtained by Gathering can be put up for auction by the gamer or transferred to other players.

As you collect resources and recipes, the player is endowed with a number of positive effects:

  • increase in speed and endurance,
  • restoration of MP, HP, etc.

During the game, each of the listed effects is applied no more than three times. During the collection of the necessary resources or the creation of an item, the number of Production Points (Production Points) decreases. At the very beginning of the game, their total amount is 1500.

OPs are endowed with the ability to recover (5 pieces within five minutes of the game). Their maximum number can reach 4 thousand. The presence of Production Points and their number are displayed in a special window. Production Points can also be purchased from merchants or the Valkyon Outfitters store.

Types of professions and crafting system

Representatives of four specialties can engage in crafting in Tera: armorer, alchemist, gunsmith and engraver. Each of them, in turn, is divided into 3 stages:

  • beginner (several stages);
  • journeyman (assigned to those who received 650 points);
  • master (number of points - 800).

To go from beginner to more high level, it is necessary not only to have a certain number of points, but also to pass tests (to create the corresponding stages of subjects). Ingredients and craft recipes are purchased from artisans living in a specific area of each capital city. You can start pumping the specialty of the gunsmith, alchemist and armorer from any location, but the engraver - upon reaching the sixtieth.

After assigning the Master, the character is also assigned a golden title, he receives a special badge. Specialties are related. To create high-level ingredients, for example, a gunsmith will need some items that only an alchemist can create. Please note that the top items of the sets cannot be transferred. The character must create them.

To craft them, you need a large number of high-level rare ingredients, many of which are impossible to obtain. They can only be created. But even if the player has reached 800 locations, he himself is not able to create the entire set. Some things have to be bought at a high price from their comrades in the group or the so-called guild. The best option is to distribute the pumping of various specialties among your “groupmates”.

Critical crafting and flawless equipment

In the process of crafting a product, you may be lucky, and it will receive an additional positive effect. This phenomenon is called crit crafting. For example, by refining materials, you can get more of them than usual. When crafting a high-level item, there is a chance to get a flawless version of it when you crit.

By and large, a flawless item has a number of additional effects, including the effect of enchantment. Impeccable armor and weapons (equipment) have the following improved performance:

  • deadly poison,
  • pulsing flame,
  • turning equipment into enchantable.

Available additional positive effects weapons are:

  • reducing the enemy's health, which leads to a decrease in his movement speed by twenty percent (Lightning);
  • decrease in his endurance (Hurricane);
  • Every second reduction of health (Toxicity).

Armor critical crafting effects include:

  • Lifeswell (recovery of three percent of HP every second);
  • Carapace (10% increase in stamina);
  • Thorngrip (every second decrease in enemy health).

Only weapons and armor obtained in certain dungeons receive additional reforging effects. You cannot sell or transfer such equipment.

Conclusion

Massively multiplayer role-playing computer game Tera is designed for romantics. She "hooks" the gamer beautiful world, interesting "chips", a well-built combat system. It should be played slowly, you can stretch the pleasure for several months. Carefully read the quest tasks, show your skills and abilities, immerse yourself in the world around you and learn to work in a team.
