Stone treatment according to Ayurveda is the use of stones and crystals to heal both individual organs and the overall health of the body. According to Ayurveda, stones have an effect on the chakras (the human energy body), but they must be used in a certain way in accordance with the color and the zone for which one or another chakra is responsible.

Effect of stones on the root chakra

The color of this chakra corresponds to stones whose color is associated with blood (red, brick, black) and have a beneficial effect on the root chakra. Garnet, ruby, jet, red jasper, obsidian, and hematite are considered ideal. They help with problems with blood circulation and help cleanse the body of toxins. Red crystals are an excellent source of energy and inspiration.

Stones by color for the sacral chakra

The sacral chakra is awakened by orange crystals and stones. Among the most suitable stones for this chakra are tiger's eye, tourmaline, citrine, and yellow jasper. Orange crystals have a particularly beneficial effect on the reproductive organs.

Solar Plexus Chakra Stones

Yellow colored crystals stimulate the Manipur chakra. Physiologically, their effect is manifested in improving digestion, strengthening the body and overcoming food allergies. Tourmaline, golden topaz, agate and light varieties of amber are ideal for influencing the solar plexus chakra.

Stones for the Heart Chakra

The energy of the fourth chakra is awakened by green and pink crystals. Suitable stones for the heart chakra include jade, aventurine, malachite, rose quartz and pink tourmaline, a pink variety of amethyst. Some types of ruby have a rich pink color, but you should be careful when using it; this crystal is very strong! For problems with the heart muscle or chest organs, green crystals are used. “Heart” problems caused by excessive worries (resentment, anxiety, disappointment) are also relieved with the help of such crystals. Please note that when working with the heart chakra, it is recommended to place the healing gem not only in the hollow of the chest.

A stone or crystal can be placed directly in the area of the heart, while focusing on the heartbeat, imagining how it is reflected in the stone.

Effect of stones on the throat chakra

Blue and cyan crystals have healing powers, and they are most evident in the treatment of colds, runny nose and other diseases of the nasopharynx. Sodalite, lolite, apatite and lapis lazuli are considered ideal stones for activating the throat chakra. They help with taste disorders, diseases of teeth and gums, and problems with the digestive tract. Blue crystals have a softer power compared to blue ones; they can be carried with you constantly. For healing, it is desirable that the gem is as close as possible to the problem area, so it should be worn in a pendant. At night, the crystal can be placed on the throat.

Third Eye Stones

The brow chakra is awakened by stones of violet, lilac and all shades of lilac. They help relieve headaches and accumulated fatigue, and activate the body to combat stress. Violet crystals allow you to concentrate, concentrate your attention on one issue or problem, throwing away everything useless and distracting. Their influence awakens the unconscious, helps to make a decision when there is insufficient information, because the third eye chakra is responsible for intuition, the ability to analyze and predict.

In order for the crystal to have a beneficial effect, it can be placed in the area of the third eye for a few minutes, while focusing on the sensations arising from skin contact with the crystal. In the practice of Reiki healing, even skin contact with the crystal is not considered necessary: the stone is smoothly moved in a circular motion a few centimeters from the eyebrow area. Ideal third eye stones are amethyst, fluorite, labradorite and kunzite.

Stones and crystals for the crown chakra

White or clear crystals help activate the crown chakra. Their influence produces a wide variety of effects: they improve well-being and help elevate mood, relieve negative emotions, help fight anger and depression, help cope with emotional distress and reduce suffering. Correct use of white crystals increases self-esteem and gives strength for full self-realization in social activities.

The direct impact of the crystal on the Sahasrara chakra is permissible only for a short time. To smooth out the power of the crystal, you need to wear it in a metal frame or put it under your pillow at night. The most accurate and harmonious effect of white or transparent crystals on the crown chakra occurs precisely during sleep.

In the spiritual practices of Hinduism, the so-called chakras are considered as centers of power and consciousness located in the internal (subtle) bodies of a person. Different Indian sources indicate a different total number of chakras in a person, but traditionally seven are distinguished from this total number: mulandhara chakra, svadhisthana chakra, manipura chakra, anahata chakra, vishuddha chakra, ajna chakra and sahasrara chakra. Let's look at each of them in more detail.

Muladhara chakra is one of the most important energy structures of the body. It is in this place that the body's irreplaceable energy is stored, which is called ojas. The canons say that as long as a person has not exhausted his ojas, he is not in danger of old age, numerous illnesses and death. We receive ojas at the moment of conception. Ojas is actively used by the body only during the period of intrauterine development and growth. Ojas is the basis of immunity (the body's resistance to disease) and homeostasis (constancy of the internal environment). There is a nadi that connects the mooladhara chakra to the heart. Part of the ojas constantly circulates through this channel, ensuring the automatism of the heart muscle (the ability of the heart to contract autonomously). The Ashta Hridaya Samhita says that with every beat of the heart we lose a drop of ojas. When extreme circumstances, severe injuries and life-threatening illnesses arise, the body mobilizes all energy capabilities, including ojas. A two-thirds decrease in ojas leads to old age. Its exhaustion causes death. The body constantly uses for its needs energy received from external sources - light, air, food, etc. Any residual energy in transmuted form enters the muladhara chakra. If in certain circumstances the reserves of this energy are not enough, then ojas is attracted. Thus, the muladhara chakra is a guarantee of the body’s energy stability. Therefore, it is associated with the primary element “earth”. It is localized in the coccyx area.

Svadhisthana chakra is the center of accumulation and transmutation of energy, which, like water, can take on three aggregate states: accumulate in the muladhara chakra (solid), used during sexual intercourse (liquid) or transformed into creative potential (gaseous). Therefore, the svadhisthana chakra is associated with the primary element “water”. In the first case, the accumulation of energy leads to the protection of ojas and the ability to maintain youth for a long time. But for this to happen, the water must turn into ice. This means that a person must conquer sexual desires at the mental level. He must completely lose lust. This state can be achieved only as a result of systematic, long-term development of spirituality, self-improvement, as well as the study of certain spiritual practices. An example of this is the yogis and holy sages.

In the second case, the energy mainly provides for the process of conception and is partially transferred to the opposite sex. There is a kind of energy exchange between a man and a woman. In men, as a rule, pingala (yang nadi) is dominant, and in women, ida (yin nadi) is dominant. Sexual intercourse leads to equalization of the work of the main nadis, however, at the cost of large energy losses. Imbalance of sexual relations, sexual perversions or too active sex life lead to general energy exhaustion and excessive expenditure of ojas with all the ensuing consequences.

In the third case, the energy is transformed into creative energy. To do this, a person must be “burning” with some idea. Water boils under the influence of fire and turns into steam. Any materialization of intellectual ideas, accompanied by inspiration and high activity, leads to a “boiling” of sexual energy. It flows through the sushumna to the upper chakras, which ensure the functioning of the cerebral cortex. People in this condition tend to naturally reduce their sexual desires. If a person does not use and transmute his energy in one way or another, then overload of the swadhisthana chakra leads to numerous diseases. This chakra is projected in the area of 4-5 lumbar vertebrae and extends its influence mainly to the pelvic organs and kidneys.

Manipura chakra transmutes and stores energy obtained during digestion and respiration. Under the influence of certain enzymes of the stomach, pancreas and small intestine (jatar agni - “digestive fire”), food is divided into the so-called “clear juice” and “cloudy sediment”. The “clear juice”, passing through the liver, turns into rasa (blood plasma and lymph), and the “cloudy sediment” is excreted by the large intestine. The race, accumulating glucose and fatty acids, delivers them to all tissues of the body, where under the influence of oxygen the synthesis of ATP (the main energy substrate of the anatomical body) occurs. The remaining glucose is utilized in the form of glycogen by the liver and muscles or converted into fats. All these processes are under the control of the manipura chakra. The energy of this chakra provides all motor activity of the body. She is the center of the primary element “fire” and controls all types of agni. In other words, all the kinetic energy of the body is under its control. Manipura is localized in the solar plexus area.

Anahata chakra- its energies are mainly associated with the activity of the heart. Man is an open biological system. He constantly exchanges various types of energy with objects in the surrounding world, including other people. When we strive in our interaction with people to demonstrate goodwill, sincerity, and try not to harm, not to use violence in thoughts, words, or actions, we have the opportunity to develop the full potential of the anahata chakra. Hypocrisy, indifference, self-interest, immorality do not allow the lotus of the anahata chakra to open and the fires of the heart to manifest. Every person needs to develop the high activity characteristic of this chakra, which people call heartiness. But, unfortunately, in our age, people, especially city dwellers, communicate with each other at a very low, heartless level. Walking down the street or while on public transport, we do not perceive the people around us as individuals, so communication is often filled with lies, pride, indifference, hypocrisy, envy and malice.

The Anahata chakra is closely related to the cardiovascular system, and its reduced activity often leads to cardiac problems. However, if your interactions with people are structured correctly, then you will always experience joy from communication, and not suffering. Since the sphere of communication is associated with the primary element “air,” the anahata chakra is considered the center of this element. It is projected in the area of the 5-6 thoracic vertebrae, slightly to the right of the sternum.

Vishuddha chakra sublimates the energy received when the senses come into contact with the outside world. Feelings are at the level of the “subtle” body, and in the physical body they have their own organs: eyes, ears, nose, skin and tongue. When the senses come into contact with objects: light, color, sound, smell, etc., the energy of external objects influences the energy of the body. It is this energy that accumulates in the Vishuddha chakra. The energy obtained in the process of perceiving the surrounding world is no less important than the energy of breathing and digestion. Without this energy, the normal functioning of the neuroendocrine and information systems of the body is impossible, just as a computer cannot function without electrical energy. For example, when direct or reflected sunlight hits the retina, a complex biochemical process occurs that converts light energy into nervous system energy. Various types of art manifested in society are designed to harmonize a person through appropriate sensations. Thus, a person’s manifestation of creativity in all areas of life is very closely related to the activity of the Vishuddha chakra. Since feelings are the main source of information for a person, the primary element “ether” has the most powerful influence on this chakra.

The Vishuddha chakra is projected in the area of the thyroid gland. On the one hand, it is connected with the sense organs and subcortical zones of the brain, and on the other, with the mental body (manas and indriyas).

Ajna chakra transmutes and accumulates energy, which contributes to the process of logical thinking (active analysis and synthesis of information). This center ensures the functioning of the cells of the cerebral cortex, which is the receiving device of the vigyan-sharira (human intellectual body). The Ajna chakra receives energy through the subtle body and transmutes the kinetic energy of manipura, and with great mental stress, also the energy of svadhisthana. Some of the energy can be sublimated and used by the lower chakras. In other words, the thinking process is also a source of energy for the body. For example, many scientists feel a great surge of strength during active mental work.

Sahasrara chakra refers to the so-called “egregor center”. An egregor is a collective energy-information field that unites various communities of people into a single system. There are egregors of family, city, country, nation, political party, religious school, planet and even the Universe. A person can be under the influence of several egregors at once. Each person constantly, whether he is aware of it or not, serves a certain egregor, exchanging energy and information with it. The more time an egregor exists and the more people it unites, the greater its energy power. Becoming a follower of a certain spiritual and religious tradition, a person immediately receives the support and protection of the corresponding egregor. This energy is sublimated by the Sahasrara chakra and provides the corresponding needs of the body. In the future, the egregor requires the person to perform a specific service. At this stage, a person must not only take, but also give something in return. Energy support now depends on human efforts. If he does not fulfill the tasks assigned to him, then the connection with the egregor will weaken. People who selflessly devote themselves to serving the egregor are in a constant flow of energy information, satisfying the needs of their body and mind. Abstract thinking, creativity, meditation and clairvoyance are associated with the functioning of the Sahasrara chakra. Human contact with the higher forces of nature is impossible without the opening of this chakra.

The Sahasrara chakra is projected in the area of the brahmarandhra, the place of fusion of the two parietal and occipital bones (the opening of the greater fontanel). This chakra is more associated with the right hemisphere of the brain.

Each person has an individual degree of opening of the chakras and their relationship with each other, which constitutes his individuality, his perception of the world of objects and people.

People who have a predominant influence of the muladhara chakra are not very developed from the point of view of spiritual evolution. They are quite primitive in their thinking and actions. They live mainly by their own interests. They are prone to hoarding even those things that they do not really need. They are quite inert in their behavior, are not aware of the surrounding reality, and the problems of other people are of little concern to them. They do not have developed imagination and creative abilities. They tend to do the same simple jobs, especially those that don't require thinking (like working on an assembly line). They can eat any food, even poorly prepared and spoiled. They are half asleep even during the day. Strong experiences are alien to them.

People who are dominated by the influence of the svadhisthana chakra live exclusively by their feelings. They believe and strive only for what they can directly see, touch or taste. They are very impressionable and changeable in their moods. Their intelligence is not very developed. They float at the will of the waves, like a blade of grass on a river. They are subject to herd mentality. More often they live one day at a time. They are not practical at all. They are characterized by superstition. However, they are very sensitive. They have great affection for sexual pleasure and are very fertile. They are characterized by dependence of mood on lunar cycles. They, as a rule, quickly develop their internal resources.

People who have a predominant influence of the manipura chakra are incredibly active. They are constantly in the whirlpool of events. True, their actions are very chaotic, and their efforts do not correspond to the results obtained. They are very much attached to sense objects. They are not satisfied only with food, sleep and sexual pleasure. They crave power, strength, wealth, honor and glory. And for this they spend a colossal amount of energy. Their whole life is long distance running. They simply have no time to think about the essence of existence. They are characterized by egocentrism, pride and arrogance. They are very immoderate in sensual pleasures, although they try to make them more refined. When they strive to achieve their goals, they completely forget about themselves. At this time they are incredibly patient and resilient. They are excellent fighters. Most often, their life ends suddenly.

People who have a predominant influence of the anahata chakra have an open heart. They are very sincere and simple in their behavior. They emanate extraordinary warmth. They are kind and merciful, respect others and always try to help those in need. They are friendly and communicate with other people on equal terms, regardless of age and social status. In their personal life they are satisfied with little. Very hardworking. They love creativity. They put their whole soul into the work they do. Usually tell the truth to others, but try not to hurt their heart. In religious practices, they often follow the path of bhakti (the development of a personal relationship with God, when a person completely surrenders himself into the hands of the Lord, recognizing his subordinate position in this world). God and the entire heavenly hierarchy greatly favor such people, even if they are not very developed spiritually and do not have great intelligence.

People who have a predominant influence of the Vishuddha chakra are distinguished by high creative abilities. These are people of art - musicians, artists, sculptors, poets, actors. They have excellent control over their voice and have the ability to convey any information, transforming it into the appropriate form. They can engage in various crafts that require a creative and unusual approach. They do not like standards and monotonous activities. They are most often quite erudite and very sociable. They have little interest in everyday life and financial relations. They like to “have their head in the clouds” and, as a rule, are poorly adapted to social conditions.

People who have a predominant influence of the ajna chakra have a well-developed intellect and logical thinking. What interests them most in life is knowledge. There are many scientists and philosophers among them. Their homes are filled with scientific books and magazines. They explore all manifestations of life. They have developed thinking, but are not sensitive enough. Their sensitivity is poorly developed. They most often believe only what can be confirmed experimentally or touched with their hands. However, some of them become sages after learning the truth. Their faith is usually based on their own experience, knowledge and observations of the world around them. In the spiritual sense, they usually choose the path of jnana (cultivation of spiritual knowledge with gradual awareness of one's original position in relation to God). Usually they avoid personal relationship with God, perceiving Him as the Absolute Truth.

People who are dominated by the influence of the Sahasrara chakra are not very common in this world. These are always outstanding personalities. They are conductors of various egregors. L.N. Gumilev called them passionaries. They have a strong influence on the course of history. They are given the ability to encourage and inspire others. Hundreds and thousands of people follow them. Some of them, consciously or unconsciously, carry out the tasks of the heavenly hierarchy, so they can receive unlimited opportunities. Even if they are evil geniuses, until they complete their mission, no one can do anything to them. They are under strong protection. Their life and destiny do not belong to them. Some of them are conductors of the will of God. Then they are called prophets and saints. These people can work miracles, because they have been given such strength and energy from above.

    What are the health stones?

    Which ones are more suitable for a woman's health?

    What health stones to buy for a particular zodiac sign

    Which stones should not be chosen, as they will lead to death

From time immemorial, people believed in the healing properties of stones. These days, stone treatment is no longer as widespread. The benefits and healing effects of stones are undeniable. Of course, treatment with health stones should not be regarded as an alternative to medications, but it is quite possible to use such procedures as additional therapy.

How do health gems work?

People have been using gemstones for many centuries. At first these items were amulets and talismans. People believed that they helped to resist negative influences, protect the health of their owner, attract good luck, and bring happiness. Each gem had its own purpose. Some protected from evil spirits, others from diseases, others from poisons, and others provided the location of higher powers.

The benefits and harms of stones for human health and destiny are described in ancient legends and confirmed by modern scientific research.

Wealthy people of high position skillfully selected jewelry from precious stones. In ancient times, people were considered rich who owned jewelry specially selected for them, because stones have the ability to bring good luck to their owner.

The symbol of state power - the crown of the ruler - was certainly decorated with precious stones. And such a headdress, made in accordance with certain canons, had powerful power and protected its wearer from evil.

To this day, precious stones are used on special occasions and are of great importance. For example, they richly decorate elements of the vestments of religious figures (the breastplate of the Jewish high priest, the traditional headdresses of the Pope and bishops).

And today, famous jewelry brands have no shortage of clients. Does this seem like a simple tribute to tradition and fashion, or do people subconsciously feel the strength and power of jewelry?

The whimsical shimmers of light in the prism of the facets of gems are mesmerizing; the precious stones seem to have a secret power of attraction. Even in ancient India, they believed that they carried the power of distant planets. This property allows gemstones to improve the mental and physical condition of people. Many believed in this property, which has many confirmations in history. For example, when feeling heaviness, Ibn al-Jassasa placed precious stones on his lap, and this helped him cope with disturbing thoughts.

In ancient times, they believed that planets with powerful energy, through precious stones, not only influenced the general condition of a person, but were also capable of changing his destiny.

The ancient sacred books of India - the Vedas - contain information about ways to enhance the beneficial effects of planets through the correct selection of semi-precious stones.

There is life in stone.

The Vedas say that a stone can contain a soul under certain conditions. A spirit striving to exist in inaction can pass into such a form of life. In its enjoyment of inaction, the soul passes into the depths of the rock and can remain in this state for thousands of years, since stone is the only form of life suitable for such a substance. This vital force imparts certain properties to the stone.

Even a plant is in constant action, germinating, reaching for the sun, breathing and giving seed. However, a soul that wants to live in inaction can only be placed in a body such as a stone. The life cycle in stone is incredibly long - hundreds of thousands of years, which is difficult to comprehend from the point of view of human life.

By what signs can you recognize a living stone?

Confirmation of the existence of living stones can be found without studying Vedic sources; some signs will help with this. First of all, this is a certain ordered structure of the body, which can be viewed in its cross section. So, on a cut of a tree, plant or other organism, you can find diverging concentric circles.

A similar structure in both a living body and a stone indicates the presence of certain life cycles. Many semi-precious stones have a layered structure in the form of circles (layers) or are crystals. This form indicates the presence of certain life processes. Stones can “multiply” through a process similar to budding. A formation appears in the structure of the main crystal or cocoon, from which, like from a bud, a new mineral develops.

Stones are associated with planets.

The powerful positive effect that stones have on human health can also be explained by the fact that they have an energetic connection with nine planets, which have a strong impact on the mental and physical state of a person. These are the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu (ascending lunar node in Western astrology), Ketu (descending lunar node in Western astrology).

The energy of these planets can not only heal the soul and body, but also influences the development of a person’s destiny. Their effect extends to the flora and fauna of the Earth, as well as to stones, because the latter in their natural state, like animals and plants, are also living, and the planets influence everything that carries life.

The energy of the planet contained in the gem is transmitted to all living things. Thus, plants, under the influence of the energy of the Sun, receive the power of fire, giving them tart, bitter, pungent tastes. And the Sun gives people protective immune forces, digestive fire, joy, and encourages action. The planet imparted all these properties to such gems as garnet and red tourmaline.

You may have noticed that the flavors mentioned above can whet your appetite and stimulate digestion. Jewelry made from health-promoting garnet and ruby stones has a similar effect: they stimulate the immune system and add cheerfulness. Thus, solar energy fills not only the direct light of the Sun, but also herbs and minerals.

Stones, which in their natural state have accumulated the power of celestial bodies for tens of thousands of years, when they fall into human hands, begin to give it to all living things. Such a powerful force can be beneficial, but it can also cause harm. People have long noticed that mountains, rich in reserves of all kinds of species, make some people's health better, while others, on the contrary, worse. Only the correct use of jewelry will provide a positive effect.

How do planets have a therapeutic effect on a person through gemstones? If a one-component mineral is painted in one color, then it contains the power of one planet. For example, red rubies and tourmalines, as well as garnets, received their beneficial properties from the solar power of fire. It is this that helps the person who chose these stones to stimulate digestion and the body’s defenses, improve blood circulation and the condition of bone tissue, and accelerate metabolic processes. The soul is filled with joy, the desire for an active lifestyle, confidence in oneself and one’s abilities.

The internal connection of ruby, garnet and tourmaline with the Sun has already been discussed above. By the same principle, all precious stones interact with one of the nine previously named planets. The energy of the Moon is contained in pearls and moonstone, Mercury - in emerald, Venus - in white topaz and diamond, Jupiter - in yellow sapphire and yellow topaz, Saturn - in blue sapphire and amethyst, Mars - in red and pink coral.

Stones for health according to zodiac signs

There are some patterns of compatibility of gemstones with zodiac signs. When choosing the mineral that is right for you, in addition to its external attractiveness, take into account the position of the Moon at the time of your birth, that is, your individual horoscope.

  • Aries(March 21 - April 19).

Those born under the sign of Aries have a solid and strong character. And quite naturally, the stone of Aries is diamond - one of the strongest substances on the planet. This precious stone, a carrier of masculine energy, conveys to its owner firmness, determination and perseverance, which helps to achieve his plans and maintain perseverance and inflexibility when it is especially necessary. In addition, the diamond symbolizes innocence and purity, giving its owner spiritual clarity. This mineral is also a symbol of wealth; it will provide abundance in many life manifestations.

Additional stones for Aries health: carnelian, bloodstone, garnet, ruby.

  • Taurus(April 20 - May 20).

Amber has a special, non-mineral origin. This is tree resin hardened to the state of stone from the shores of the Baltic Sea. These “plant” roots make amber especially close to nature lovers – Taurus. The golden color of this stone provides representatives of the sign with a stable flow of higher spiritual energy. Under the influence of amber, a person receives both calmness and activity, patience and harmony. The stone becomes a reliable protection against negativity, giving the body the opportunity to restore its own strength.

Additional stones for Taurus health : red coral, turquoise, sapphire, emerald, rose quartz.

  • Twins(May 21 - June 20).

Geminis, who have the ability to overactively think, may benefit from the calming effect of agate. Carrying the energy of the Earth, agate imparts masculinity and resistance to stress and energy imbalance. This stone promotes harmony, so it will help Gemini achieve internal harmony and balance. It should be nearby when Gemini has to make a responsible decision, since the stone will help the owner maintain his own understanding of what is happening, activate intellectual potential and relieve phobias.

Additional stones for Gemini health : pearls, white sapphire, chrysoprase, citrine, moonstone.

  • Cancer(June 21 - July 22).

Moonstone is a precious mineral, a carrier of the energy of the Moon, the patron planet of Cancers. The main purpose of this stone is to absorb all the power of the planet, so it works best during the full moon. On the one hand, moonstone protects sensitive Cancers, on the other hand, it activates intuition, feminine energy and psychic potential. Moonstone is responsible for spiritual development and perception, so it is an assistant in personal relationships, business, and is also an indispensable attribute for meditation.

Additional stones for Cancer health : emerald, ruby, pearl.

  • a lion(July 23 - August 22).

Tourmaline affects the heart, the part of the body associated with the Zodiac sign Leo. Tourmaline evokes and enhances heartfelt feelings such as calm, love, compassion, and happiness. Tourmaline also often accompanies meditation.

Additional stones for Leo's health : golden topaz, carnelian, onyx, sardonyx.

  • Virgo(August 23 - September 22).

Blue sapphire is a sacred gemstone for Buddhists. The mineral will help organize and clarify the mind, opening the way to spiritual wisdom. This stone is all the more necessary for Virgo, since people of this sign are anxious and restless, often distracted by extraneous and unnecessary thoughts. The blue color, as a reminder of the sky, constantly returns Virgo's thoughts to a high goal. In addition, blue sapphire increases mental flexibility, stimulating Virgos to get rid of outdated stereotypes and look for new potential in themselves.

Which stone to choose for health according to chakra

When the balance of one of the seven chakras is disturbed, this problem can be corrected by the influence of the gemstone responsible for the energy channel. For this purpose, biostimulating stones are combined with a point of a given chakra on the body, used as decoration, or simply brought into one’s home.

– the red chakra, located at the level of the sacrum. Proper functioning of the chakra provides vitality and confidence and corresponds to the human physical body. Biostimulants of Muladhara are hematite, rauchtopaz, obsidian, shungite, morion, bull's eye, ruby, garnet.

– orange chakra located at the groin level. Proper functioning provides sexual energy, stamina, and corresponds to the mental body, that is, a person’s emotionality. Swadhisthana biostimulants include ruby, garnet, rhodonite, red jasper, tourmaline, spinel, citrine, and amber.

Manipur a – yellow chakra, located at the level of the solar plexus. It is associated with the work of the endocrine system and gastrointestinal tract. It corresponds to the astral body, that is, the energy of life. Manipura biostimulants include carnelian, citrine, tiger's eye, carnelian, topaz, cacholong, selenite, yellow sapphire, beryl, zircon.

– green chakra located at the level of the heart. Its functioning ensures the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system. It corresponds to the human subconscious, that is, the sphere of feelings and desires. Biostimulants of anahata are rose quartz, rhodonite, rhodochrosite, red and green tourmaline, malachite, jade, jadeite, emerald, chrysoprase, peridot, amazonite, uvarovite.

– the blue chakra of a person, located at the level of the throat. Its functioning ensures the proper functioning of the respiratory organs and vestibular apparatus, and adjusts logical thinking. Aquamarine, turquoise, chrysocolla, lapis lazuli, sapphire, blue agate, blue topaz, and sodalite act as biostimulants of Vishuddha.

Biostimulants of Sahasrara are diamond, rock crystal, opal, adularia (moonstone), and amethyst.

Which stone is NOT good for health: TOP 10 most dangerous minerals

Place number 10. Coloradoite.

This crystalline mineral was found in magma veins not so long ago. It consists of mercury telluride, which is derived from an alloy of mercury and tellurium, a rare, highly toxic metal. Such a mixture causes irreparable harm to human health and, without following safety rules, can cause severe intoxication. When thermal and chemical effects are applied to a mineral, steam and dust are formed that are dangerous to life and health. This stone is mined to extract tellurium from it. In nature, tellurium is often combined with gold in rocks, which no one knew before. Coloradoite began to be mined in Australia when, as a result of the “gold rush,” it became known that unwanted tellurium nuggets with gold inclusions that no one noticed were falling into potholes on the roads.

Place number 9. Chalcanthite.

Water, sulfur, copper and several other substances form attractive crystals of chalcanthite, a stone that immediately catches the eye due to its rich blue color. In this composition, copper, which is needed by living beings, becomes very dangerous. As part of chalcanthite, it easily dissolves in water, entering all organisms in huge quantities. With such an excess of copper, many body systems fail, and a living creature quickly weakens and dies. Non-professional researchers should remember that any manipulation with this stone can result in a huge dose of copper entering the body and cause serious harm to health. Mining chalcanthite destroys flora, which threatens serious disturbances in the ecological balance. The attractiveness and low abundance of the mineral still makes it in demand. In connection with this, the geological community organized production for the cultivation of artificial crystals equated to natural samples.

Place number 8. Hutchinsonite.

Thallium, which is part of the mineral, is similar to lead in appearance and physical properties. But unlike its counterpart, thallium is a rare and extremely dangerous substance for humans, and the harm of this stone can be very great. It occurs in nature as part of toxic compounds and even after normal contact with the skin causes severe illnesses that are highly likely to be fatal. Hutchinsonite is a combination of lead, thallium and arsenic and requires extreme care. The stone was named after a major representative of mineralogy from Cambridge, John Hutchinson. Hutchinsonite is found in European mountainous areas, usually in ore deposits.

Place number 7. Galena.

The stone seems to be composed of cubes of amazingly regular shape with a silvery sheen. This type of mineral is a consequence of the cubic fracture process: when struck, galena breaks up into smaller copies of its original shape. Lead is mined using galena. The sulfur contained in the mineral transforms lead, which is naturally flexible, into a fragile metal that reacts well with chemicals. By ignoring safety rules, everyone in contact with galena is exposed to severe toxic effects. The danger comes from getting into the lungs dust generated during the work process both in mines and in laboratories.

Place number 6. Asbestos.

Asbestos is an extremely dangerous naturally occurring mineral. If other stones have a poisonous effect from the chemicals contained in their composition, and the harm of a stone to human health is often isolated and accidental, then asbestos causes severe mechanical damage to the lungs on a different scale. Asbestos is made up of sodium, iron, oxygen and silica (the most abundant mineral on earth). In the natural environment, asbestos is found in the form of an accumulation of a huge number of microscopic crystals in the form of a thread, which have the ability to be transported by airborne droplets. That's how it ends up in people's lungs. This organ gradually ceases to perform its functions due to continuous irritation of the tissue with the formation of adhesions. Asbestos inclusions can be found in any silica rock; for this reason, when developing the latter, it is important to comply with safety requirements. Erosive natural processes contribute to the transfer of asbestos microparticles of this mineral in the atmosphere. Therefore, many people have asbestos particles in their lung tissue.

Place number 5. Arsenopyrite.

Arsenopyrite is a type of pyrite (fool's gold or iron sulfide). Outwardly, it can be mistaken for gold, so many people take it into their hands, not knowing that they can cause irreparable harm to their health. Arsenopyrite consists of a mixture of iron sulfide and arsenic. Any impact on this stone provokes the release of life-threatening, highly toxic, corrosive and carcinogenic fumes with the odor of garlic characteristic of this very toxic substance. Interaction with this stone (handling or touching food after arsenopyrite particles get on the skin of the hands) leads to the entry of easily disintegrating arsenic sulfur salts into the body. You can avoid a fatal mistake: when you hit a stone, the characteristic smell of garlic, inherent in arsenic, is released.

Place number 4. Torburnite.

Torburnite is truly one hell of a stone. Crystalline formations of a deep green color in the form of a prism occur as inclusions in granite deposits and contain uranium. Arising from the complex interaction of phosphorus, copper, water and uranium, these stunning crystal compositions excite collectors who want to add this unique piece to their home collections. The mixture of radioactive uranium, infamous for the Chernobyl disaster, and the deadly radon gas, which causes lung cancer, makes storing this stone incredibly dangerous. Torbernite is often found in granite substances, so granite products found in everyday life may have inclusions of torbernite.

Place number 3. Stibnit.

Stibnite is antimony sulfide. Its sword-shaped crystals resemble the spiers of miniature buildings. Externally, the stone looks like silver. This forced people to make beautiful dishes from large, shiny nuggets that looked like metal. Unstable connections caused the death of people using these dishes. Much time later, they found out the extent of the harm this stone can cause to human health and learned that stibnite, due to the inclusions of antimony, provokes serious intoxication. When holding stibnite under normal conditions at home, you must strictly follow the recommendations for safe handling of this stone: thoroughly wash the skin of your hands after touching the mineral.

Place number 2. Orpiment.

The mineral contains arsenic and sulfur. Orpiment deposits are formed in the ground next to thermal water springs. Orpiment attracts people with its bright and rich colors, but the substances included are highly chemically active and deadly. It is enough to touch the stone with your hands to expose yourself to the carcinogenic and neurotoxic effects of arsenic. Orpiment and cinnabar, ground into powder, were used to treat arrowheads in China. The substance has a garlicky odor characteristic of arsenic and can turn into a powdery state that is aggressive to humans from exposure to sunlight. Previously, this stone was the main element of ocher and had a poisonous effect on the artists who used this paint.

Place #1. Cinnabar.

Cinnabar is bright red crystals of mercury sulfide. The name translates as "dragon's blood". Cinnabar is the most dangerous to process; the harm of this stone to human health is irreparable. Cinnabar deposits are formed near volcanoes and are a source of industrial production of mercury, posing a threat to human life. Whenever cinnabar is processed, pure mercury vapor is formed, under the influence of which a person begins to have convulsions, loses sensitivity and dies. During the Middle Ages and until the end of the 18th century, the death penalty was synonymous with exile to Spanish mines, the depths of which contained cinnabar. In Ancient China, artisans made beautiful dishes and various decorative figurines from this stone, unaware of the mortal danger. Ancient doctors attributed healing properties to cinnabar and actively used it in medical practice.

Ancient Indian medical texts talk about extremely important energy centers in the human body called chakras. Chakras are of paramount importance for human health and are one of the fundamental elements.
Translated from Sanskrit, the word “chakra” means “wheel”. Although this term originally denoted a variety of things, including the solar disk of the supreme god of Hinduism Vishnu and the universal law of existence of the Buddha (dharma chakra), tantric doctrine and Ayurveda limited the meaning of the word “chakra” to the following: “a chakra is a kind of energy gate through which subtle energy is exchanged.” energy between the physical and energetic bodies."
A number of modern authors call the chakras “aura nodes” that receive and transmit cosmic energy and countless minor positive and negative energies released from a variety of sources: the environment, the collective mind, the home and work atmosphere.
Chakras located along the spinal column - from the perineum to the crown. In yoga and other schools, chakras are called psychophysiological centers in the “subtle body” of a person. Chakras are often, although not entirely correctly, called “energy centers” that regulate our interaction with the outside world.
Traditionally, chakras are described and depicted as a lotus flower that constantly rotates, which makes them look like a fiery wheel or disk, the color of which is different for each chakra. This is where the name “chakra” comes from. The chakras are connected to the physical body by subtle nerve channels called “nadis” located in the astral body; they are inaccessible to ordinary eyes.

CHAKRAS AND ENDOCRINE GLANDS

Each person has many secondary chakras, but there are only seven main chakras, and they are responsible for the energy balance of the aura. The main chakras are located along the line of the spinal column, connecting the lower (material) part of our body with the higher (spiritual) part. The endocrine glands are controlled and nourished by certain major
chakras. The endocrine glands can be controlled by stimulating or inhibiting their activity through control or manipulation of the major chakras. Many diseases are caused in part by malfunctioning chakras.

SEVEN MAIN CHAKRAS

The seven main chakras are located along the spinal column. The main chakras are like power plants, supplying energy to the vital organs.
1. Root chakra
In Sanskrit this chakra is called “Muladhara”, which means “root, support”. The root chakra is located at the base of the spine, between the anus and genitals. It controls the functioning of the adrenal glands and intestines (from the duodenum to the rectum). The main functions of this chakra are survival, stability and energy distribution.
The chakra is depicted as a circle surrounded by four lotus petals, with a square inscribed in it. Inside the square there is an inverted triangle, symbolizing the feminine principle (yoni), and the “house” of Kundalini, the tantric snake, the nest-
located in the lower part of our body.
The colors of the root chakra are black and purple. Therefore, the most suitable stones for it are obsidian, black onyx, black tourmaline, Picasso jasper, rauchtopaz, black coral and purple magnetite.

2. Sacral chakra
The word “Svadhisthana” consists of two Sanskrit words: “sva” - “life force” and “adhisthana” - “place, dwelling”.
Thus, its literal translation is the seat of vital force. This chakra is located in the pubic area, above the fifth lumbar vertebra and the sacrum, and is responsible for sexual functions and reproduction. The sacral chakra influences creativity, feelings and sexuality. This chakra controls imagination and fantasy, encourages people to be creative.
This chakra is depicted as a white circle (symbol of water), supported by a waxing moon (flow of life) of light blue color, surrounded by a lotus flower with six petals of dark red color. The colors of this chakra are red, scarlet and cinnabar. The closest stones to it are ruby, rhodochrosite, red jasper, red amber, red coral, red hematite, fire opal and red tourmaline.

3. Solar Plexus Chakra
The name of this chakra in Sanskrit sounds like “Manipura” and means “city of jewels”. It is located between the solar
plexus and navel and controls the functioning of the spleen, liver, pancreas and stomach. Promotes growth of self-awareness, self-confidence and self-power.
The image of this chakra is an inverted red triangle (symbol of the element “fire”), inscribed in a circle and surrounded by ten blue lotus petals (blue is the brightest color of flame). The colors of this chakra are orange and yellow. To open, strengthen and harmonize the solar plexus chakra, it is recommended to use quartz-citrine, yellow topaz, gold
agate, tiger's eye, golden opal, yellow and golden aventurine, yellow sapphire, yellow calcite, apatite and heliodor.

4. Heart chakra
Translated from Sanskrit, the name of the chakra “Anahata” is translated as “ever-sounding drum.” It is located in the center of the chest at heart level. Controls the functioning of the heart and circulatory system, lungs, thymus, pleura and diaphragm. Manages relationships, personal growth, the ability to establish contact, and compassion.
The heart chakra is depicted in the form of intersecting colorless (like air), smoky-gray, grayish-green or pink triangles. The overall shape is that of a six-pointed star (symbolizing growth in all directions) surrounded by twelve red petals. The colors of this chakra are pink and green. The best stones for strengthening it are considered: emerald; green
aventurine; malachite; olivine, or peridot; jade; green tourmaline; chrysoprase; amazonite; heliotrope, or bloody jasper; mossy agate; pink tourmaline; rose quartz; pink jade and spinel.

5. Throat Chakra
The name of the throat chakra “Vishuddha” translated from Sanskrit means “full of purity”. This chakra is located at the level of the throat and controls the functioning of the thyroid gland, larynx, bronchi, vocal cords and tongue. Associated with any kind of communication, self-expression and exchange of information.
Depicted as sixteen purple petals surrounding a white circle, in which is inscribed a blue (the color of the soul) triangle, pointing down.
The color of this chakra is blue and its stones are aquamarine, turquoise, chrysocolla, blue tourmaline, blue quartz and blue chalcedony.

6. Third Eye Chakra
The name of this chakra in Sanskrit sounds like “Akhna” and means “power”, “rule”. It is located in the center of the forehead and governs the pineal and pituitary glands, the eyes, the endocrine glands and the lower parts of the brain. The chakra is responsible for logical, honest, critical, tactical and conceptual thinking.
Depicted as a blue circle with two luminous petals (lobes of the pituitary gland). In the circle there is an inverted triangle of the yoni (symbol of the feminine), inside of which, in turn, is the lingam (male genital organ).
The colors of this chakra are indigo and violet. Lapis lazuli, amethyst, violet fluorite, sodalite, blue malachite, blue sapphire, blue fluorite, blue tourmaline (indigolite), azurite and kyanite have a therapeutic effect on it.

7. Crown Chakra
Translated from Sanskrit, “Sahasrara” means “lotus flower with a thousand petals.” It is said that this highest chakra can emit the light of "ten million suns." Sahasrara is located at the top of the skull and controls the four lobes of the brain, which contain the main brain centers responsible for reflection, self-awareness and self-perception. The crown chakra balances all other chakras and directs subtle energy to the human body. Additionally, this chakra imparts a sense of wholeness and stimulates subtle levels of perception, intuition, and inspiration. She is depicted as a sphere (a symbol of perfection) with a thousand petals of all the colors of the rainbow surrounding two-thirds of it. This chakra contains all shades of the spectrum, but the predominant color is white.
Its stones are moonstone, white onyx, pearls, white howlite, and rock crystal.

Chakras and energy balance

The chakras are closely connected and interact with many external factors. Some of them have a beneficial effect, others disrupt the functioning of the chakras and energy balance. Each chakra absorbs and emits a certain type of energy necessary for the functioning of the organs it controls.
Improper functioning of the chakras leads to malfunctions in the transmission of energy: its flow decreases, becomes more sluggish and, in especially severe cases, dries up, which leads to dysfunction of the corresponding organs and, as a result, to serious illness. When energy does not flow harmoniously through the chakras, or when one of the chakras is blocked or open too wide, an imbalance occurs that manifests itself in all areas of life, including the functioning of the corresponding endocrine glands and metabolic disorders.

Vishuddha is the fifth chakra, which, like a bridge, takes a person to the highest levels of consciousness. It is associated with communication and creativity, and due to its location it is also called the throat chakra. In this article I will tell you what the Vishuddha chakra is responsible for and what its manifestations are on the human physical body.

Translated from the ancient language of Sanskrit, Vishuddha means “purification.” The element of the fifth chakra is Ether. The 4 lower elements - Earth, Water, Fire and Air - are purified here to a substance of a higher plane, which dissolves in the Ether.

According to Hindu tradition, the movement of the primary elements occurs as follows:

  • the element of Earth (root chakra) dissolves in the element of Water (sacral chakra) - and the person gains the ability to smell;
  • the element of Water is transformed by the element of Fire (associated with the solar plexus chakra), which turns into steam - and a person begins to feel taste at the level of;
  • the element of Fire rises higher and connects with the element of Air (heart chakra), setting it in motion - then a person begins to experience tactile sensations;
  • finally, the Air element rises to the throat chakra and is completely purified in the Ether, and hearing becomes available to the person.

The color blue is associated with the fifth chakra. The image is a circle containing 16 blue petals. Each petal has one Sanskrit letter written on it, which symbolizes the positive qualities inherent in the chakra.

Inside the large circle there is a triangle pointing downwards. And inside the triangle is a small circle, which is a symbol of the Moon and Ether.

What is Ether? It represents a single field of subtle vibrations. To connect with this element it is important:

  1. spend some time alone and in silence, so as not to clog your auditory perception with various “tinsel” (constantly playing music, the sound of a working TV, etc.);
  2. communication, because without it a person feels lonely and withdraws into himself, while communication must be positive and sincere, otherwise the energy flow of the throat chakra will be limited.

Location of Vishuddhi and its meaning

Let's find out where the throat chakra is located. In the photo below you will see that it is located at the base of the neck.

The bottomless radiance of heaven, a feeling of magnificent freedom, an inspiring symphony of the heart that blurs the line between the earthly and the Divine, gentle music of the soul.

All this is a unique blue chakra - a symbol of purity, a unique lotus flower that bloomed at the morning dawn and absorbed everything beautiful and perfect.

Through the throat chakra we express our thoughts and bring our best ideas to life. Through it, life is accepted as it is.

Vishuddha is insight, vision of the very essence without illusions, creative ecstasy. Revealing the most beautiful thing that is in a person - creative abilities, creation for good in Divine Love.

The fifth chakra, light blue in color, is the engine of human talent. With its help, the best music, poetry and paintings are written.

It gives works of art that “zest” that makes creations brilliant. Vishuddha is a surge of energy, super-understanding of meanings, revelation of one’s true self.

The throat chakra is responsible for:

  • inspiration;
  • moral beauty, beauty of thoughts and speech;
  • honesty;
  • manifestation of oneself as an individual;
  • purification - purity of thoughts;
  • communication with other people, one’s own self and the forces of the Universe;
  • expressing thoughts and ideas through creativity;
  • hearing - external and internal.

It is with the help of Vishuddhi that a person can make contact with Higher powers or open a channel for receiving universal information.

It also allows a person to see what is happening inside him. Through it we express what is happening in our soul. Tears, laughter, joy and love are all the fifth chakra.

Vishuddha is the lowest of the three upper chakras. The 5th chakra is the heavenly gate to another world, where time and space no longer have power over us.

Through the “Divine Eloquence” bestowed by the Throat Chakra, we are able to go beyond any external limitations and unite the spiritual and material worlds in our essence.

How does a healthy chakra work?

A harmonious throat chakra makes a person confident in himself and his abilities. He is not afraid to make mistakes and does not adapt to others, changing his opinion to suit them.

He is not afraid of obstacles - this person evaluates the situation from the point of view of universal laws, and from each, even the most difficult case, he gains invaluable experience.

Moving forward not for the sake of achieving a goal, but for the sake of the path itself - this is the true meaning that is revealed to the owner of a well-developed Vishuddha chakra. For him, both material and spiritual things are equally valuable.

Such people serve for the benefit of others. They are interested in self-knowledge, knowledge of the world and the laws of the Universe. What this person has learned or felt, he expresses through creativity.

Often, out of the blue, talents are discovered in a person that he never even thought about - poetry flows like a river or beautiful works of painting with amazing subjects are created. This is the work of open Vishuddhi.

These people, as a rule, do not require any praise for their work - they take pleasure in creating for the benefit of others.

When the fifth chakra is fully open, people not only communicate freely with their own kind, but also know how to listen to themselves and their own body - they are able to control their thoughts, changing negative thinking to positive.

Shifting responsibility to others for what they have done or for their lives is not the habit of people with a healthy blue chakra. They are well aware that they are the creators of their own destiny.

They look for answers to all questions that arise not in the outside world, but within themselves, realizing that they are an integral part of the Universe, the wisdom of which is used with amazing ease.

A person’s thoughts and his words are a strong energy that is directly related to the quality of our life and health.

People whose 5th chakra works correctly freely control their emotions, preventing the most destructive ones from appearing - anger, resentment, envy, jealousy and malice, turning them to their benefit, transforming their manifestations into unconditional love.

They live not according to the dictates of the mind, but according to the desire of their heart. Listening absolutely calmly to what others say, they remain with their point of view. They are not ashamed of what they think, however, they do not try to impose their opinion on others, respecting everyone’s freedom of choice.

Imbalance in the throat chakra

First of all, people with blocked Vishuddha are dissatisfied with the world around them and the attitude of other people towards them. They always feel that they are being treated unfairly; they try to blame everyone and everything for their troubles and misfortunes. Depression and depression are the essence of people with a sick chakra.

Such people are complete zeros in creativity. Not being able to create anything themselves, they criticize the creations of others. The beauty of the magical playing of the violin is inaccessible to them, “stupid poems” also do not inspire them, and hatred of those who create for the benefit of others knows no bounds.

Pride forces these people to elevate themselves while putting others down. They cannot correctly express what they are thinking. And negative emotions, such as envy and resentment, spill over, complicating an already unenviable life, and making it even more bitter.

A person whose fifth chakra is blocked cannot express himself in anything. The only thing available to him is to throw mud at those who create and create. By humiliating others, he exceeds his importance. It’s easier to belittle and inject more painfully than to create something.

Problems communicating with other people and yourself are the main sign of an unbalanced chakra. A person is not only afraid of life, but also experiences extreme fear when left alone with himself.

He tries to attract attention to his person by imposing his opinion on others. His ego is big. In everything, such a person seeks only profit - going over the heads of others for him to achieve some goal is as simple as shelling pears.

Making up non-existent things, making problems out of thin air, as well as insincerity in everything are characteristic of individuals with a sick Vishuddha. Melancholy and annoyance, disappointment and dissatisfaction with life are constant companions of the closed 5th chakra.

Such people often have problems with the speech apparatus, which result in stuttering. There is no middle ground for them - they are either overly talkative or withdrawn into themselves. Rudeness and harshness, cruelty and aggression are common manifestations of chakra blockage.

Holders of unhealthy Vishuddhi hear only what is convenient for them to hear, distorting everything that happens in their favor.

They are not able to see their inner world, much less determine their true life purpose. Even if the universal laws were revealed to them, such a person will never dare to implement them in his life.

Alcoholism, drug addiction, suicide attempts, withdrawal from reality, hatred of others and oneself, thirst for violence and submission, desire to destroy everything beautiful, self-doubt and fear of communication - these are the main aspects of the problems that were created by the disease of the Vishuddha chakra.

Vishuddha and the physical body

The throat chakra is responsible for the following organs of the physical body:

  • ears, throat, nose;
  • neck, vocal cords and thyroid gland;
  • teeth and jaw;
  • lungs (their upper part);
  • arms and muscles.

Throat diseases - tonsillitis and bronchitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, including allergic rhinitis, sore teeth and weakened immunity, diseases of the lungs and ears, poor hearing, stuttering, diseases of the oral cavity and unpleasant odor, diseases of the thyroid gland - these are only part of the physical problems which occur when the fifth chakra is blocked.

The most effective method of healing this chakra is spending a long time in nature and contemplating the beauty of the blue sky. Frequent visits to beautiful places will bring peace and tranquility, and will also fully open the beautiful blue chakra under the beautiful name Vishuddha.
