Scenario for the holiday "Book Name Day"

(for primary school students)

Teacher: Children's Book Week has been celebrated in our country for more than 70 years. Quite a long time, if you think about it! The history of this holiday goes back to wartime 1943, when children’s voices rang under the arches of the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions. Yes, once upon a time the Column Hall of the House of Unions was dedicated to this holiday and, as if on a New Year’s tree, characters from fairy tales of all nations, children’s writers and young readers, formed a wide circle, symbolizing the truth of the statement about the most reading country in the world.

Have you heard? Name day!
At Volodya's? Shura? Nina?
The girls? The boys?
No! Our children's books!

In poems, stories, fairy tales
And thick stories.
Look how much at once
We have guests!

Oh book! What a wonderful word!
The creation of people is eternal and new.
She both excites and heals our hearts.
And with a book, life is warmer and easier for us.

A good book is my companion, my friend,
Leisure time with her is always interesting.
We're having a great time together
And we slowly carry on our conversation.

You teach to be truthful and valiant,
To understand and love nature, people.
I cherish you, I take care of you.
I can't live without a good book.

Znayka: Wow, I barely made it, after all, knowledge is not an easy thing, really, guys! But if you don’t try to learn something new, life will be boring. We agree!

Dunno: Well, I started my organ: I need to read, I need to read. Who needs your reading?

Znayka: What do you think, that guys like you don’t read?

Project "School Uniform"

Project goal: To study the history of the school uniform and assess the prospects for its return, to form one’s own position.

Abstract of the project The first project, which students of grades 3-4 worked on, was called “School uniform. My attitude towards her." A school uniform is a mandatory daily uniform for students while they are at school and at official events outside of school. Now in Russia there is a lot of debate about whether students need a school uniform and what it gives: it increases discipline and academic performance or, on the contrary, it deprives them of individuality. And so we decided to investigate this problem.

The purpose of our research was to determine whether there is a need to introduce a uniform uniform for students at school.

Research objectives: Find out when school uniforms were introduced in Russia? Explore what it was like before? Conduct a survey among students in grades 3 and 4 “Do they like going to school in a school uniform?” Create a folder of creative works (drawings, applications, mini-essays) on this topic.

Collection of information When starting research on this topic, the class teacher proposed the hypothesis that: A school uniform is needed because it disciplines. Let's say that in the morning you don't have to think about what to wear to school. You always look neat and elegant in it.

Collection of information The object of the study was: school uniform. Subject of the study: the need to introduce a uniform uniform for students at school.

The fashion for school uniforms came to Russia from England in 1834. First for boys and then for girls. After the revolution, the form was not thought about until 1949. School uniforms became mandatory again only after the Great Patriotic War. A uniform school uniform is being introduced in the USSR. From now on, boys were required to wear military tunics, and girls - brown woolen dresses with a black apron.

In 1973, a new uniform for boys appeared: it was a blue suit decorated with an emblem. In 1976, girls also began to wear new uniforms. They began to wear dark brown dresses with white cuffs and black and white aprons. The Soviet-era school uniform is traditionally worn on Last Bell as a symbol of farewell to school.

In the mid-80s, the last uniform reform took place: boys and girls were given blue jackets. Compulsory wearing of school uniforms in Russia was abolished in the spring of 1992. For many years now, Russian schoolchildren have been doing without a school uniform, but they come to classes in whatever way they can.

In modern Russia there is no single school uniform, as there was before, but many schools have their own uniform. For example, we 3rd - 4th grade have our own form.

We conducted a survey “Do we like going to school in a school uniform?” After analyzing the survey results, we came to the conclusion that all students in grades 3-4 like to wear a school uniform.

In our class there is a business style of clothing.

In our class, we organized and designed an exhibition of drawings and models “School uniforms today.” We wrote mini-essays “School uniform. To be or not to be". I believe that a school uniform is the face of a student. From the research we have conducted, we can see that a school uniform is necessary. Conclusion: The children look neat and are comfortable. You don't have to think in the morning about what to wear to school. The school uniform teaches order and discipline.

Thank you for your attention!

Progress of the event
Presenter (librarian):
Children's Book Week- an annual all-Russian event aimed at popularizing children's books.
The first children's book festival was held on the initiative of children's writer Lev Kassil on March 26, 1943 in Moscow in the Hall of Columns of the House of Unions.

Children's and Youth Book Week traditionally held every year during the spring school holidays.
And it all started like this...
It was a gloomy day in March 1943. There was a war going on, food was issued on ration cards, and it was cold in the houses. On this day, Moscow boys and girls in old dresses and jackets, worn out shoes and patched felt boots filled the spacious hall of the House of Unions. Squinting unusually from the bright light of the chandeliers, they listened to what children's writers and poets they knew well from books would tell them. This was the first time Children's Book Week was celebrated.

Now, every year during the seven days of spring school holidays, libraries welcome their young readers. Children's Book Week is a holiday for all children who read, a holiday for childhood, a holiday for writers, publishers and librarians. A holiday of inquisitive children and adults who love books, a holiday of fun adventures, new literary discoveries, and meetings with interesting people.

In the Far Far Away Kingdom in the Thirtieth State
Once upon a time there lived a Tsar, a Queen,
They lived together and did not bother.
And they had a daughter - Vasilisa the Beautiful, whom they loved very much.
And Vasilisa had a maid Ramona, she also loved Vasilisa very much.
One day Vasilisa and her maid went for a walk.
They walk, and the Sun shines on them, and the Sun warms them.
The grass is turning green. The trees rustle. Birds are singing.
Suddenly Vasilisa saw a stump in the clearing, got tired and sat down on the stump to rest. And the sun is shining, the grass is turning green, the trees are rustling, the birds are singing, the brook is babbling.
And then, out of nowhere, a Hurricane swooped in and carried Vasilisa away.
Here the maid Ramona bursts into tears. He comes running to the Tsar - Father and the Queen - Mother, falls to his knees and says: “Sorry, Tsar - Father, I didn’t watch, I didn’t follow.

The Tsar and Queen became sad. The Tsar thought, thought and said: “Whoever frees Vasilisa the Beautiful will receive Half a Kingdom, Half a Tractor and Half a Lemon.
Just at this time, Ivan Tsarevich was passing by, and he heard about the king’s misfortune. He challenged Hurricane to a fight. The Hurricane arrived, and Ivan Tsarevich brought him Sabelka. And the Sun is shining, the grass is turning green, the trees are rustling, the birds are singing, the brook is babbling.
Ivan Tsarevich overcame the Hurricane. The Tsar and the Tsarina cheered up, hugged their daughter Vasilisa, and began to live as before - getting along and playing get-together. And Ivan Tsarevich received half a kingdom, half a tractor and half a lemon as a reward.
This is the end of the fairy tale; well done to those who played in it!
That's how it was

Presenter (librarian):
Everyone is good today -
We had a lot of fun!
Everyone was joking and playing
Questions were answered.
So many discoveries have been made -
Don't forget to grab them!
And for everyone who loves books,
We didn't forget the gift.

A book is your best friend forever!
(Bagrova E.V.)
The song “New Book” is playing, lyricist: Natalya Timofeeva

Verse 1:
If they ask me what to give you:
A doll, a ball, a funny mouse.
I will answer: “I cannot live without books,
Give me a new book."
Chorus:
And turning the pages,
I'm going with Alice to Wonderland,

I fly over a dense forest.

The sun laughs above,
And from the Arctic Ocean

Verse 2:
The book will give you joy,
It won't let you feel sad.
A stormy day will suddenly become fine.
Can a child live without a book?
For me there is no gift more expensive.
Chorus:
And turning the pages,
I'm going with Alice to Wonderland,
I soar into the sky after the blue bird,
I fly over a dense forest.
Rivers, seas and countries flash by,
The sun laughs above,
And from the Arctic Ocean
The seals are rushing to visit me.

Holiday of Cats.

Target: moral and environmental education of schoolchildren:

developing in schoolchildren the ability to perceive animals as partners in the process of communication, which is necessary for the formation of a humane attitude towards the natural world.

Tasks:

Instilling kindness and a responsible attitude towards our smaller brothers;

Familiarity with the peculiarities of keeping pets.

(In advance, the librarian prepares a recommended list of literature for children, an exhibition of books and magazines with literary works and educational materials about cats is arranged in the library. An exhibition of children's drawings about their favorite pets is prepared in the assembly hall).

On the screen is a video “The Prankster Barsik and His Friends” to music from the film “Kitten from Lizyukov Street”.

The event screensaver appears on the screen.

Leading:

HELLO GUYS! We are glad to welcome you to the festival “A little bit of everything about cats and about cats”!

Why did we choose this spring day for such a holiday?

Kitty: Many nations have established national days to honor these closest domestic inhabitants to humans. In Russia, Cat Day is celebrated on the first day of March, in the USA - October 29, in Poland - February 17, in Japan - February 22. And the basis for all Cat Days was World Cat Day, celebrated on August 8th.

Leading: You see that any day can be a cat day. That's why we celebrate it today! What do we know about cats?

Kitty: Cat experts noted that they have lived with humans for so many years that they feel equal to them.

Leading: Cats never meow to each other. This sound is specifically designed for humans. Cats can make about 100 different sounds, while dogs can only make about 10.

Kitty: Cats especially love to be stroked behind the ear and under the chin. Moreover, cats are more affectionate and sociable, while cats are more capricious.

Leading: A cat's sensitivity to sound volume is 3 times higher than that of a human! (If we listen to loud music, then we need to give the cat the opportunity to go to another room!)

Kitty: A cat has an average of 12 whiskers on each side of its face. There are a large number of nerve endings at the base of the whiskers, so the cat uses them to navigate and receive information about everything that surrounds it. Without a mustache, a cat can go crazy!

Leading: Scientists say that people who have a cat at home turn to doctors for help five times less often than those who do not have a furry pet in the house.

Leading: Very often, cats become heroes of literary works, cartoons and films.

One such cat will help us at our holiday today.

CAT: Hello, dear guys! I am the Scientist cat. Do you know who invented me? That's right, Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin!

Today I want to have fun with you at the cat festival.

I have many different friends - domestic cats, wild cats, literary characters, and cartoon characters.

Let's check if these cats are familiar to you. Every friend of mine sent your paw print With riddles for each class.

Leading: Let's all guess together which of the scientist cat's friends left their mark. Go out one at a time and read the task on the paw marks.

(Images of literary heroes - cats appear on the screen)

This cat pretended to be blind and always wore black glasses.

(Basilio the Cat).

A smart cat from a fairy tale by Charles Perrault, who was inherited by his younger brother.

(Puss in Boots. "Puss in Boots").

When this kitten saw something incomprehensible and interesting, he muttered: “Tyup-tyup-tyup-tyup...”. (Tyupa. E. Charushin “Why was Tyupa nicknamed Tyupa”).

Amazing cat, painted in a checkerboard pattern; his tail is green, his mustache

long, green and green eyes.

(Cage. Yu. Druzhkov “Magic School”).

A white fluffy cat from a story by E. Charushin, who caught fish himself.

(Epifan. “Cat Epifan”).

A black cat, a bully and a fighter, from the book “The Adventures of Pif.”

(Hercules).

Daryonka's cat in P. Bazhov's tale “The Silver Hoof”?

(Muryonka).

This cat was Freken Bok's favorite in the fairy tale "The Kid and Carlson"

(Matilda).

This kitten had a dog's name. (Woof).

This cat was invented by Walt Disney. (Volume).

This cat had a cow named Murka. (Matroskin).

What was the name of the fairy-tale cat - hypnotist (Cat - Bayun)

Guys let's be friends. (Leopold the Cat).

CAT: Well done! You know my friends well!

And I saw an exhibition of your drawings. What wonderful friends you have! I'm very glad that you love them!

Kitty: Cat, do you know that the guys not only drew pictures for our holiday. Ira and Tanya Zinchenko wrote short stories about their favorites. Listen here. (Reads excerpts from stories).

Cat: Well done! Many poems, stories and fairy tales have been written about us cats. Now you will listen to Tim Sobakin’s poem “Favorite Sound.” (Timofeev Artyom, 2a grade).

(You can put a toy in your hands - a cat, on the screen - a boy with a cat).

The sound of a purring cat -

my most favorite sound.

This is not a waste of time for you,

This is not knock-knock-knock.

I'm sad because boom-boom

I often frown from bam-bam,

creating an eerie noise

creating a terrible commotion!

If the Cat suddenly notices,

that I am sad and gloomy,

will immediately sing a song

called MUR-MUR.

I feel so comfortable when

in the silence I suddenly hear

the sound of a purring cat

My most favorite sound.

CAT: Guys, you all dream about something. Do you know what I dream about? I dream of a planet where only cats live. I know what the planet might look like. For example, like this (on the screen there is a planet) or like this (pulls out a planet with cat ears, which was made in advance from a bouncing ball), but I can’t really imagine what alien cats might look like. Now we will dream up together with you. I propose to become artists and draw a portrait of a cat - an alien.

Leading: Each class requires 5 people. The first one draws ears and eyes, we wrap the leaf, the second one draws the nose and mouth, we wrap it again, the third one draws half the body with the front legs, the fourth one half the body with the hind legs, and the fifth one the tail. Don't forget about the whiskers and claws, and that the cat is not quite ordinary! Then let's see what we got!

While the artists are drawing, the rest of the guys come up with a nickname for their cat - an alien. The nickname should be fun and interesting. Begin!

(On the screen is a video for the song “Morning Begins” from the cartoon “Scarecrow - Meow”).

Leading: And now, while we are introducing cats to the planet,

listen to Andrei Usachev’s poem “Planet of Cats”.

(Sonya Gabova, 3A)

(At this time, teachers help cut out the cats and secure them with tape to the planet).

(On the screen are views of the cat planet).

There is a Cat Planet somewhere.

There cats, like people, live:

Reading newspapers in bed

And they drink coffee with cream...

They have apartments and dachas,

Cars and other comforts,

They love to fish

And they take the children to the resort.

They fly to overseas countries,

They find diamonds the size of a fist,

Tulips planted in flower beds

They even breed dogs.

Luxurious life on the planet

In cats, cats and kittens!

But these strange inhabitants

They are always sad about something.

So many good toys

So many records and books!

It's just that cats don't have cats...

Oh, how sad they are without them!

Andrey Usachev

Leading: Look what we came up with!

CAT: Oh, great, I would definitely settle on such a planet.

Leading: What do you think, besides houses where cats live, what else must be on this planet? (Children's answers: pharmacy, store, walk area...).

What should be in a cat pharmacy or store? Our guest will tell us about this, veterinarian Romanenko Elena Vyacheslavovna.

…………………………………………………………………………………..

CAT: Thank you! Now the guys will take even better care of their cats! But Olga Alexandrova composed a poem in which a little kitten tells how difficult it is to live when the guys don’t know how to treat it correctly. Let's listen.

The poem “Little Kitten” is read by Tanya Chernyakova, 2nd grade.

(On the screen are illustrations for the poem).

Hello, dear mommy!

The day passed and everyone fell asleep.

And so I'm like

He found himself free.

It was difficult for me at first

Everyone was taught something... (full text can be found on the Internet).

Leading: You're probably tired. Let's have our cat physical session. You, the scientist cat, do the same with us.

(On the screen there are dancing cats).

Cat

You know me closely.

I'm a friendly pussy.

On top there are tassels on the ears,

The claws are hidden in the pillows.

In the dark I see clearly

I won't offend you in vain.

But teasing me is dangerous -

I scratch terribly.

(They walk in place on their toes, sneaking, holding their arms bent in front of their chest.

They stop, make “ears” from their palms, then “claws” from their fingers, then eyes – open palms, again bent arms in front of the chest. They're sneaking around again.

They stop again and show their “claws”).

CAT: You know that I am a very cheerful and cheerful cat. I love all kinds of songs and dances. Can one of you sing to me? a song?

(2nd grade students sing a song about shaggy, tailed friends).

CAT: Thank you, wonderful song! We cats really love fish and fishing. I suggest you go fishing. Every fish has mystery. Whoever catches the fish answers the question, and gives the fish to me.

Leading: Guys, come out one fisherman from the class, then one more. (The guys sit on the edge of the stage, are given a fishing rod with a magnet, and below are paper fish with questions attached to paper clips)

(On the screen is a fragment of the video “The Cat is a Fisherman”).

9) A cat is sitting on the window: Paws like a cat’s,

Ears like a cat, but not a cat. Who is this? (Cat)

Well, of course it is... (Cat)

    Glistening in a clean river

The back is silver. (Fish)

12) What kind of animal is playing with me?

Doesn't moo, doesn't laugh, doesn't bark,

CAT: What wonderful guys you are, you know so much, just like me! And I want to listen to some more poems about cats.

(A poem by Alexey Dmitriev about a stray cat,Gubernatorova Sasha, 2B)

One day I met a stray cat.

- How are you doing?

Nothing, little by little.

I heard that you are seriously ill?

- I was sick.

So you were lying in bed?

Homeless, I have nowhere to put a bed.

How strange, I thought,

What in the big world

There is no place for homeless dogs and cats.

Do you hear, cat, come with me,

It's getting dark, and that means it's time for us to go home!

We walked with her down the street proudly and boldly -

I was silent, and the cat sang quietly.

What was she singing about? Perhaps about

That everyone needs their own home.

CAT: Thank you for reminding the guys that every cat wants to have its own home. This is how it is in Lukomorye.

Have you ever tried to write poetry yourself? Now you will have this opportunity! Your poem will be called “I’ll tell you about the cat.”

Leading: Teams need to compose poems to a given rhyme (3 minutes):

Rhyme for 2nd grade: Cat, window, mouse, book

Rhyme for 3rd grade: Cat, hippopotamus, cornice, five rats

(While the children are composing, the music “The scarecrow - meowed on the pipe” sounds)

Leading: Let's hear what you came up with.

CAT: Do you know that cats can make real circus performers? In Moscow there is Yuri Kuklachev’s cat theater. Let's see how unusual artists perform there.

(VIDEO RECORDING OF A CIRCUS PERFORMANCE AT THE THEATER OF YURI KUKLACHEV)

LEADING: Guys, I know that you have read a lot of books about cats.

Let's check how carefully you read these books. Quiz. The teams need to determine which work the cat they are describing is from:

2B: “Listen, children: once upon a time there was a cat in the world,

Overseas, Angora.

She did not live like other cats, she did not sleep on a matting,

And in a cozy bedroom on a small crib.

She covered herself with a scarlet warm blanket...” (Marshak “Cat’s House”)

2B: “Mom didn’t even think that cats could be so smart. She thought they were just

They know how to steal meat from pots and scream on rooftops. And here you are not wearing a cat,

and the nurse!.. Mom really liked him. And he knows how to do everything and talk to him

you can..." (E. Uspensky "Uncle Fyodor, the Dog and the Cat")

3A: “The kitten Vaska was sitting on the floor near the chest of drawers and catching flies. And on the chest of drawers, actually

there was a hat lying on the edge. And Vaska the cat saw that one fly had landed on his hat. He's like

he jumped up and grabbed his hat with his claws.” (N. Nosov “Living Hat”)

3B: “The woman said: “I knew that I was smart, but I didn’t know that I was beautiful. Let's

Let's conclude an agreement. If I praise you even once, you can enter the cave.”

(R. Kipling “The Cat That Walked By Itself”)

3B: “We are in despair. We didn't know how to catch this red cat. He

stole from us every night. He hid so cleverly that none of us

didn’t really see... It was a cat who had lost all conscience, the cat was a tramp and

bandit. Behind his back they called him Thief.” (K. Paustovsky “The Thief Cat”)

(On the video screen - “Funny cats” - part two).

Leading: People have come up with many different proverbs about cats. Let's see if you know them.

(The presenter reads the beginning, the children finish in chorus).

The cat is out of the house - the mice dance

A kind word pleases the cat too

The cat knows whose meat it ate

For the cat - toys, for the mouse - tears

The cat's paw is soft, but the claw is sharp

At night all cats are gray

The little bird started singing early, lest the cat eat it

Leading: Well done! Our holiday has come to an end!

CAT: Guys, did you enjoy the holiday? I also really enjoyed talking to you. That's why I want to give you gifts.

I really love it when they draw me or my friends, or write poems and stories about us. I want you to draw us some more. I give coloring books about cats to each class.

Kitty: And my friends and I also want to treat you to candy, which we ourselves don’t eat, but we always stock up for guests and friends. These candies are named after us cats. Iris "Kitty-Kitty"!

Cat: Guys, what do you think is the favorite game of cats? That's right, cats and mice! Today in the extended day group I advise you to play this game!

Leading: Thank you everyone for coming to our holiday and taking an active part in it! And, as Leopold the cat said, let's live together!

Music or video plays to the melody of “A cat walking by itself.”

Cat Basilio: And there is no one to break the spell.

Queen Book: What are you whispering about?

Holiday for 4 classes

"Book Name Day"

Purpose of the holiday:
1) instilling a sustainable interest in literature, cultivating a love of reading;
2) formation of cognitive interest in books.

Objectives: 1) to interest children in reading books;
2) consolidate knowledge about fairy tales;
3) develop the creative abilities of students.

Design: book exhibition “Love a book with all your soul”; statement about reading; posters with illustrations of books; slides; costumes of the participants.

Progress of the event.
The song “Fairy tales walk around the world” is played.

Host: Hello, guys! We are pleased to welcome you to the book festival. The Holiday of the Book is the most unusual holiday on earth. This holiday is good because you can celebrate it alone, or you can meet with friends and read aloud or tell each other about your favorite books. But when hundreds of loyal subjects of Her Majesty of the Book gather in one place, that’s when the Holiday of Reading happens. If you think that people there only read their own books, then you are mistaken. Here they meet the characters from the books, play and sing.

Children read a poem:
Ah, the books of my childhood,
Favorite heroes,
Wonderful fairy tales, magic,
You are with me forever.
Years will pass, but never
I won't part with you.
And I believe: we are forever
Let's remain friends.
How are you doing, my friend?
Prankster Pinocchio?
Where's Pierrot? Where's the cricket?
Beautiful Malvina?
Hello Tin Woodman!
I won't forget you.
I will remember the scarecrow forever
And I will believe in a miracle.
Hello, funny Winnie the Pooh,
Funny, cute bear.
Pyhtelka composes out loud,
Dipping honey into the gingerbread.
Kai, Gerda, Gulliver, Huck Finn,
You guys are great!
Tom Sawyer, Mowgli, Muffin,
Dunno is freckled.
I am grateful to you, friends,
For glorious moments.
What time did I spend together with you?
I believed in a miracle!
Host: There are many wonderful books in this world. But among them, every adult has his favorite book, which he read as a child. A book that makes your soul warm every time you pick it up.

(Interrupting the presenter’s words, Baba Yaga bursts onto the stage)
Baba Yaga: Let me through quickly! I'm late! It seems they are starting without me.
Host: Grandma, you made a mistake. It's a children's party here. And your age cannot be called childish.
Baba Yaga: It’s better not to talk about this! I'm only 300 years old! I still want to be naughty! (Takes out a mirror and admires it)

To the beautiful Yaga
I can’t look enough.
Ah, my love.
I! I! I!
I don't like girls and boys!
I don’t read newspapers or books!
I'm walking through the forest
I'll look at the TV
I'll watch the show.
Presenter: Ksati, Baba Yaga, about the program. Right now, here on stage, we’ll watch the program and see a report in which a newspaper correspondent asks the guys questions about reading.
(Scene No. 1 “Correspondent in the Library”)
Correspondent: I am a correspondent for the newspaper “World of Childhood”. Would you be willing to answer some of my questions? Why did you come to the library?
Reader 1: Choose a book for literature essays.
Reader 2: I’m preparing for the Russian language Olympiad.
Reader 3: I'm looking for my favorite book. I just love to read.

Correspondent: They say that reading books is not modern. Many people are passionate about computers and TV.
Reader 1: That's why they have electronic wires instead of brains, and a black hole instead of a soul.
Reader 2: Today – a non-reader, tomorrow – an illiterate.

Correspondent: What books do you prefer to read?
Reader 2: I’m looking forward to meeting Astrid Lindgren’s heroes: Pippi – Longstocking, Emil, Carlson.

Correspondent: What do you like about the books you read?
Reader 3: I rejoice when evil is defeated, I sympathize with the deceived and offended. I am learning to distinguish honesty from deceit, cowardice from lies.

Correspondent: What can you add?
Reader 1: I remember how, as a child, my grandmother, reading a book to me, said: “The mind, like a stream, dries up and grows old if you let the book out of your hands.” And this became my motto.

Presenter: That's it, Baba Yaga! We read and love books. (Addresses the audience) Really, guys? He who reads a lot knows a lot.
Baba Yaga: And I, and I... I know a boy whose name is Don’t Know. He probably doesn't even know how to read.
Dunno:
Who said this bullshit:
“Dunno has not read any books”?
These are lies! Just lies!
I declare it directly!
I read without hesitation -
Ten thousand books a year -
From picture to picture
And then vice versa!

And I learned to memorize poetry! Want to listen?
Host: Well, shall we listen? And we’ll call our competition “Dunno’s Poems.” Listen carefully, and if Dunno makes a mistake, correct him.
Dunno: Well, listen:
"Snow is melting. A stream flows.
The branches are full of doctors.”
Host: Who's full of whom? What should the word be here, guys? (Children answer: “Rooks.”)
Dunno: Well, just think, I made a mistake once, it happens to everyone. Listen further:
“The sea turns blue before us,
T-shirts flutter over the waves.”
Well? Wrong again? Can't be! So how should it be?
Children: Seagulls.
Dunno: Then I’ll read something else, I learned yesterday:
The doctor reminded Uncle Mitya:
"Don't forget one thing:
Be sure to accept
10 herons before bed!
Host: Not herons, but drops. All your mistakes are due to restlessness and unwillingness to learn.
Dunno: Guys, I will improve. Can I tell you a riddle?
Host: Make a guess. Our viewers will guess it instantly.
Dunno:
He should get up early
So as not to yawn at your desk,
To check if everything is okay,
There are books and notebooks in the backpack.
And the following question arose:
Who is he? This is... (student).
Host: Yes, Dunno, it’s a good riddle. A real student must be organized, He must have his books and notebooks in order. Thank you for the riddle, come into the hall to the guys.
There are many capable students at school who not only love to read stories, novels, and poems, but also write their own poems. I would like to introduce you to a student who will read her poem to you. So, welcome.
(Student's speech)
Baba Yaga: Yes! But I have lived for 300 years and only composed one poem. Want to listen?
Somehow early in the morning
Kashchei and I sat down on the meter
And we went on the meter
Watch a film about a kangaroo.
Here we are sitting in the cinema
Without a coat and without a muffler.
Or rather, me and you
Without a muffler and without a coat.
A kangaroo entered a cafe
I took a free table there
And sits behind the domino
With a chimpanzee and a cockatoo.
Suddenly a huge monkey
Started playing the piano...
Here is an adult, having taken off his pince-nez,
I laughed my ass off!
Well, tell me, am I not smart? Ho, I’m kind of tired, I’m getting old and jumping around on children’s holidays, it’s time to go back.
(There is noise and crackling. Pippi runs onto the stage.)

Pippi: Oh, oh, oh... Where did I end up? To a magical island where my dad, the black king, rules? It seems not. All the children there are black, so they must be black. And I see that the children here are fair. Or maybe I'm in heaven, where my mother lives? I don't recognize you.
Host: But we recognized you. You are the heroine of a book by Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren.
Peppy: Yes, and I need to demonstrate my excellent manners. Let me introduce myself. I am Peppilot... you can just say Pippi Longstocking. Would you be so kind as to tell me where I ended up?
Presenter: Dear Pippi, the fact is that today is our “Book Name Day” holiday.
Pippi: Oh, I love name days! Now I'm going to bake a birthday cake! (Pippi creates a whole fuss: she rushes back and forth to the music, now for flour, now for a cup. She does all this while dancing to the music.)
Presenter: Stop... Stop, Pippi! Not that..
Peppy: Isn’t that right? And why? What would a name day be without a birthday cake?
Host: These are not quite ordinary name days. This is the name day of a children's book, and we need to create a fairy tale.
Peppy: Got it! So, instead of a birthday cake, we're making a fairy tale today? That's great! How is this done?
Host: Look!
Snip-snap-snurre,
Pourre-baselurre.
Hey, beloved heroes,
What from a children's book!
Come visit us soon
The kids are waiting for you!
(Music from the film “The Golden Key or the Adventures of Buratino” plays; Buratino and Malvina come on stage to it).
Malvina: Sorry it took us so long. Pinocchio forgot his bag in our puppet theater. Papa Carlo went out and locked the doors.
Pinocchio: We had to look for him. We were in such a hurry! I really wanted to go to the holiday!
Host: Now, I think, all the excitement is behind us, and we can continue our holiday.
Buratino: Of course, we will continue. We have a bag with us with a secret, it contains various objects. They will remind you of fairy-tale characters. Malvina and I will tell you about them, and you must name them correctly.
Malvina:
He always loves everyone,
Who wouldn't come to him!
Did you guess it? This is Gena.
Nice Gena... (Crocodile)

Pinocchio:
He is both cheerful and kind,
This cute weirdo
The owner is with him, the boy Robin,
And buddy Piglet.
For him, a walk is a holiday
And I have a special scent for honey,
This is a plush prankster -
Little bear... (Winnie the Pooh)
Malvina:
Long unknown to many,
He became everyone's friend.
An interesting fairy tale for everyone
The boy is familiar with the onion.
Very simple and short
He's called... (Cipollino)
Pinocchio:
I didn’t tremble before the wolf,
I ran away from the bear.
And the fox's teeth
Still got caught... (Kolobok)
Malvina: Pinocchio, now it’s time for us to go, because a penmanship lesson awaits us.
(Pinocchio takes Malvina by the hand, they leave)
Fox Alice: Where is he? Where is he? That wooden boy with the long nose? He left... And here, I see, some lovely children have gathered.
Hello my dears!
Hello, my beautiful ones!
Oh, how smart you are.
Everyone is beautiful, okay.
Please open your eyes wider,
Listen to me carefully with your ears: forget about Lukomorye, about the green oak, about the learned cat, about your books. I will amuse you! I have magic coins. Whoever catches them will receive candy. (Throws coins, then fake candies).
Expand. Unfolded? Ha ha ha.

Host: Shame on you, Lisa Alice, these are not candies, but deceptions.
Fox Alice: Why are you looking at me like that?
I said that's it!
It's up to us to decide now.
We came up with Basilio,
How can we ruin your holiday!
Host: You won’t succeed. Look how many of us there are, you are alone. Come on guys, let's try to drive her away. First we'll stomp: one, two, three. Now let's shout: one, two, three.
Fox Alice: Enough, enough. That's it, I give up. I'd better get back to the book.
Host: Guys, how often have you met a real sorceress? But the little heroes of Pamela Travers' book, Jane and Michael, are lucky: their nanny Mary Poppins is a real sorceress.
(Mary Poppins appears, spinning to the music)

Mary Poppins: Hello guys! My fairytale friends told me that Alice the Fox is trying to ruin your holiday. I had to wait for a fair wind to fly to your aid. Fortunately, you have already done a great job, and I am very happy about that. There is no one stronger than the army of book friends. I see that you are doing very well, and I can return to the book. After all, I promised Jane and Michael to go visit Uncle Parrick. Mr. Parrick, when he laughs, he gets filled with laughing gas and just flies up to the ceiling. Many more surprises await Michael and Jane in the book.
And I wish you guys
Be friends with a book
And live a little in a fairy-tale world.
I only wish you to be Znayki,
Read books and, of course, love them.
Host: Book is an amazingly beautiful word. You just have to open it to get into the wonderful world of reading. If you haven't read the book "Mary Poppins" yet, be sure to read it soon.
Bukvoed: But you won’t be able to have any such holiday, no reading!
Host: Who are you? Why do you think so?
Bukvoed: I am Bukvoed. Try to open any book and you will see blank pages.
Host: It’s not true, even in the morning the letters were in their places.
Letter eater: Ha ha! Still in the morning! They're gone now because I ate them for lunch.
Host: How is that?
Letter eater: I wanted to eat, so I snacked on letters from your children’s books. In what, in what, and in letters, I - Bukvoed - know a lot about!
Host: Are they tasty?
Bookworm: But of course! The letters from fairy tales are fabulously sweet, delicious, like cakes. And all kinds of encyclopedias are as tough as nuts. That's why I don't mind eating letters for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Host: What to do? After all, without letters there are no words, and without words there are no books. Maybe we can persuade you not to do this.
Peppy: It seems I can help you. I read a recipe for Alphabet cookies in one of the cookbooks and tried to bake them. It turned out well. I have some with me. You, a lover of letters, would you deign to try them?
Letter eater: Why, I’m not against it. (Eats letters). Tasty. I guess I'll leave the books alone and eat these cookies.
Presenter: Pippi helped us out, otherwise we would have had to call for help from those guys who read faster than the Letter Eater can eat them. Oh, he scared us. Indeed, letters require protection not only from the Letter Eater, but also from careless, bad readers. Books must be protected. They are like people: they are born, they live, sometimes they get sick, they grow old, and therefore they require careful treatment. Sometimes a book needs to be treated: glued, sewn, trimmed pages.
(Children read the fable “Two Books” by Ilyin)
(Music sounds. The Encyclopedia Queen enters, a page carries a train behind her).
Queen: Oh, boring (yawns). I was completely covered in a layer of dust. For three days no one contacted me. And how much I know! They probably haven't had any questions yet. Well (addressing the page), have you learned the lesson I set?
Page: Yes, madam!
Queen: Let's see. Tell me the name of the goose on which Nils went to Lapland:
Page: Martin
Queen: How many years did the old man live with his old woman by the very blue sea?
Page: 30 years and 3 years.
Queen: Well, that's enough. Well done! I see that you know, you have read the books that I recommended to you. Otherwise you wouldn't be my page. (sighing) I'm bored. (Snaps finger)
Page: What do you want, madam?
Queen: It’s boring for me to sit here, cheer me up.
Page: Right away, madam!
(There is a knock on the door and Little Mook comes in.)
Mook: (falls to his knees) Oh, lady! Wise encyclopedia, listen to me!
Queen: Who are you?
Mook: I am Little Mook.
Queen: Please stand up. What do you want?
Muk: I visited many countries. I have seen a lot of evil in the world. Served the rulers. Evil and cruel, cunning and stupid. And now I have reached the Kingdom that I have dreamed of all my life. I reached the Kingdom of Books - the kingdom of wisdom and knowledge. Allow me, Queen, to remain in your domain.

Queen: You said it well just now. You will be my page. I love exemplary readers.
Muk: Oh, lady! Who is this exemplary reader?
Queen: (surprised) How, you don’t know? Everyone in my Kingdom knows this. An exemplary reader is one who loves to read, treats books with care, and delivers them to the library on time.
(Children read poems)

I choose books with pleasure -
On the shelves, in the silence of libraries.
Either joy will suddenly overwhelm you, then excitement,
After all, every book is like a person.

One is old, wise, well read,
In the other, everything is unusual, strange, new.
Books open up a whole world to me,
I go step by step, word by word.
Can I visit the north?
And in the tropics, where bananas grow.
What a joy it is to open and read.
Stories, fairy tales, novels, novels!
I can find out what happened a century ago,
And that someday, probably, will happen.
Books tell people a lot of things
Books help people in many ways.

Let's imagine for a moment,
That we suddenly lost magazines and books,
That people don't know what a poet means,
That there is no Cheburashka, no Hottabych.

It's like no one, never in this world
And I had never heard of Moidodyr,
That there is no Dunno - a liar, idiot,
That there is no Aibolit and no Uncle Styopa.

It’s probably impossible to imagine something like this?
So long live the smart, kind word!
Let books come into your home as friends!
Read for the rest of your life - gain your mind!

A good book is my companion and friend,
After all, leisure time is more interesting with her,
I'm great friends with a good book,
And I spend my free time with her.
Any book reveals a secret to me:
About birds, about animals,
About the secrets of the planets.
She teaches me to love nature,
To be useful and devoted to the Motherland.

There are many books in the world
Kind and funny,
And live in the world
We can't live without them.
Let the heroes of books
They give us warmth.
May goodness forever
Evil wins!
Host: The time has come for us to say:
See you!
Our book holiday is over
You were visiting some lovely friends,
Everyone has been in a wonderful fairy tale.
(Children sing the song “Visiting a Fairy Tale”)
